Yes the MSM created narrative of what Pizzagate was that they were able to debunk wasn't real. The problem of child sex traffiking and use of pizza as the code phrase is real. This seems made up.
"Pizzagate" did not simply refer to the idea that people who possess and share child pornography sometimes use code phrases including the word "pizza" to hide online references to child pornography. Any suggestion that it's just that is pure revisionism.
I remember reading articles mentioning the "cheese pizza" thing way before 2016. It didn't matter what the words were, the important part was that the first letters were "CP". Pretty simple code and I'd imagine that there were other phrases that fit that mold that were also used.
