Happened four years ago. A grand jury determined that the Dollar General employee "acted lawfully".

I'm not sure if the DA was seeking charges, or if it a standard procedure with a shooting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is a news story from 2019 about a shooting at a Dayton Dollar General. That clerk was charged and no-billed by a grand jury.

Pretty sure we even had a long thread about it when the family initially complained.

I will guess that if you get killed while robbing a place called "Dollar General" then you are not a Mensa Candidate either.

They call it Dollar General because most of the stuff they sell is about a dollar. In other words, there is very little money in that store.

The bullets the perp stopped might have been worth more than a lot of the things in the store.
