Don't think you'll get any disagreements from F16 but it's a fact that this move by Abbott has done more to advance the acknowledgment of the problem by Democrats than anything else that's happened in probably 40 years. We now have prominent Democrat politicians calling for a change in border policy and that's a massive shift. Without this change we have no hope of closing the border under Democrat control. This move has created division in the Democrat Party and that's difficult to do on any issue. It has to be seen as a win.

Busing and flying these people to the cities is bringing a major amount of attention to this problem that would not have happened without these transportation, events happening. Yes, we do need to do something about the border, but it was the problem of Texas, not the rest of the country now everybody's getting to experience what Texas has been going through for years.

Fire up the busses. Send more!

They're not going to shut the border. They opened it up for over 9 million illegals to come in. They didn't give a **** until it affected them. Let them deal with the problem, we've had enough. It's not like they're gonna go round up all these people, and immediately deport them.
