It's a panel discussion with all three together. This was excellent forum and much better than previous debates. They were not attacking each other and came off genuine and likeable . Vivek probably did the best.

I don't know. Trump skipped the event. The candidates were encouraged to keep it civil at the forum and that the candidates were asked not to attack one another.

I think the fact that this was not a debate, where Trump would be required to think fast in order to counter questions and attacks, but rather a more civil forum that valued substance over flashy soundbites yet Trump still skipped it says a lot about his current capabilities.

I think Trump being 40 points up with no real threat to his republican candidate nomination in site and skipping an event that only would give more press to his competitors is a no-brainer as well. Very astute of you and it does certainly highlight his capabilities.

I checked, it says someone who apparently fails European geography and generally acts like a clown is not capable of winning a debate against actual serious candidates.
I want a debate where each candidate is in their own room with a mic. They get asked a question and have X minutes to answer. When Time is up the mic is cut off. If they mention a rival then that person gets a short period of time to rebut then the mic is off again.

I wish that had been Christie in place of Vivek. But, the writing is on the wall for CC's candidacy IMO. Hopefully they can drop Vivek asap and quickly sort out the Haley DeSantis challenge and get to a straight up Trump vs only 1 person.

The numbers would look much different if it was just two people, and that might be what would get Trump to a debate.
The best thing everyone not named DeSantis and Haley could do right now is drop out while there's still time before the voting starts next year. Like in '16, one of Trump's greatest assets was everyone else diluting the numbers by there being so many of them.
Trump has all of maga to vote for him, but little else. If the non maga had one option only to vote for had person would have a great chance of winning.

I agree but he and his people have to find a way to appeal to Trump voters. He has got to show some ability to own the libs. People want blood. Currently they are hell bent on attacking Trump which is a fools errand.
