Biden to Escape Charges for Mishandling Classified Docs

Quote:

Special Counsel Robert Hur, who is investigating President Joe Biden for mishandling documents, is not expected to charge anyone, sources familiar with the matter told CNN and the Wall Street Journal.

The report suggests a double standard of justice. While there will reportedly be no consequences for Biden, Special Counsel Jack Smith indicted former President Donald Trump in June for mishandling classified documents.

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Brandon has apparently been taking home classified docs since he was a Senator and keeping them in his garage. Senators and VP's have no declassification powers and are expected to follow all the rules of handling classified docs just like anyone else.

If anyone else were to take classified docs home they would likely go to jail for a long time.

Trump who as President had declassification power is being prosecuted for keeping classified docs (Trump claims he declassified) in a locked closet in his Secret Service protected home.

Double Standards does not even begin to explain this crap.

He should have been charged.

That said, if Trump had given them back when asked, I doubt that he would have been charged.

Well at least that's good for Trump. Biden was only a VP. Trump was president and had authority to declassify documents. Biden didn't. So if Biden got off, surely Trump will too.

Two tier justice system in the USA. Never thought I would live to see this, but alas, it is here and thriving under the Democrats.

Well, when you cooperate with the investigation, you get better results. When you tell your staff to hide the documents, you don't. So who's surprised by that?

This is false. The (D) DAs and DOJ have been looking for any possible reason to persecute/prosecute Trump.

Of course, Breibart is being dishonest, spreading misinformation. Jack Smith did not indict Trump for mishandling classified documents. As mentioned above, if Trump had returned the Presidential Records he was denying having, the indictment (or the search warrant) would never had been filed.

When notified that he had records that did not belong to him, Trump lied. Biden said he was sorry, look for any others. Trump tried to hide what he had. Biden opened his doors for a search without a warrant.

Funny, complying with the law has benefits. Non-compliance has consequences.

And the ones to blame for his hypocrisy are conservatives and Republicans which have allowed liberals and Democrats to run rough shod over our values and our Society.

Allowing for the destruction of academic freedom of our colleges and universities as liberal professors were allowed to indoctrinate instead of educating.

Allowing under the "freedom of the press" for liberals to subjugate our news agencies, reporting propaganda for the Democrats as "truth" while undermining what made this country the envy of the planet.

Yes, it is good to be a Democrat for they have earned it by slowly killing this country like a cancer kills an individual.

Well, you have to admit that it fits the evidence.

Oh, I forgot, you guys don't believe in evidence.

Watermelon man has a point.

It was Hilary's cooperation that really helped her case. Once she wiped it with a cloth for the investigators, who could ask for anything more? The ultimate in cooperation.

Agree completely. And this two tiered justice system now extends into many states and every Democratic run major city.

Everyone considering voting for any Democratic candidate should immediately reconsider their voting preferences immediately.

The prosecution would have a hell of a hard time making a case if he had willingly given them back when asked.

If he can prove that they are actually declassified, then he should be found not guilty.

This crazy notion of magical declassification because of thoughts running only in his head is a bunch of hogwash, though.
