I'd buy the hell outta this truck for my work vehicles. I ****ing hate regulators and their lobbyists that caused Americans to $50k pay for all new **** vehicles.

Incentivized planned obsolescence, Remove vendors that don't from the equation. That's the ****ing game theory and it makes me so damn sick.



Meanwhile the taliban Toyota is the most affordable war vehicle I'm aware. Maybe next to a Hamas Paraglider.

Finally. A truck thats just the parts it needs to operate.

All the bells and whistles and govt required bs needs to go. I'd happily crank my windows again, don't use a camera, don't need trailer assist, don't need to be reminded my seat belt is off, don't need seat warmers, don't need blind spot, don't need Bluetooth or all the other crap that's base models come with. Just give me the most basic truck you can.

I would pay the extra bit for blind spot and rear view camera. Those 2 features are great.

Seat warmers, electronic seat adjusters, remote start, 1,000 airbags, million other sensors doing other sensor things can go.

I'd drive that any day.

Granted I'd rather be cruising around in an M35/deuce. I'd feel invincible in the snow lol. "Was that speed bump or a prius? Idk drive on!"

I'd easily fit all my guys out with those. Keep one of my big ones for trailers.

Hard as hell to get them in that trim. My tacoma was the most basic truck I could actually find, and it has WAY more crap than I could ever want.

You're exactly right. They say they want basic but when push comes to shove, they won't buy it. We should poll former students on game day with season tickets and trucks and how many went basic with a single cab . I doubt most even buy an extended cab. It's the four doors or bust.

I have a 4 door, but it's because I routinely carry more than one other person.

It's got vinyl seats, rubber floors, am/fm stereo, a/c, 4x4 and a 6.7 diesel. No camera, no blind spot monitor, no back up assist. Not even window tint. It's the most basic truck available from 2012. The same truck today has all sorts of unwanted gadgets that are required by govt that needlessly increase the price.

I'd be happy to drive a 2 door, but I carry more than 1 other person too often and the resell sucks. But, it'd be great to be able to turn again. I drove a single cab for years

Black SUVs were the original vehicle for Uber, it was a private car service using an app, it wasn't supposed to be cheap or economical, the cars were a small step down from limousines.
