Unfortunately only the biggest egos will get to be the Republican nominee or at least that is what current polls tell us.

But the fact they are "attacking" him says maybe the polls won't hold up.

To be honest, I have no idea nor care as long as either candidate is not pushing a mandate either way.

POTUS at this point should not have an opinion on whether someone gets a shot when there is not a pandemic nor international health crisis afoot.

Even then, vaccine mandates like mask mandates seem inconsistent with our Constitution no matter who the POTUS is or who is running.

And I do not recall Trump ever advocating for vaccine mandates.

As per Trump recently: "It should be called the Trumpcine."

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. Some of us have seen people injured or die from the vax and see how much damage it has caused even though they stopped the mandates (though too late for millions who were forced to take it against their will). Trump still wants credit for the vax btw. He wants you to thank him for saving your life. He sure as hell isn't standing up to the CDC or NIH.

On a more personal note for me my 85 year old Mom just got another freaking booster. I have told her not to but her Dr tells her it's the right thing to do because the CDC and NIH recommend it. So yes I will cheer for someone standing up against the insanity.

Understand, only DeSantis has clean hands here, never advocated for the vax and kicked the CDC and NIH completely out of Florida whilst making the vaccine unavailable to his residents because he wants to protect them from certain side effects and death from the vaccine. Is that it?

DeSantis gets zero points in my book regarding the vaccine. None for, none against.

Trump pushed Warp Speed hard in an effort to at least curtail the madness by the left with lockdowns, endless stay at home compensation, etc so I give him a point for that effort. Another point for not calling for mandates. Then minus 2 points for still taking credit and not being more diligent in calling out side effects once out of office.

So all even in my book.

Zero points, got it. Just leaving out the minor itty bitty part about the last 2 years and their current positions and actions which was what the post is about. Please keep ignoring what Trump and DeSantis have actually been saying and doing on this issue currently though because that doesn't look so good for Trump. I particularly like how he barked down a supporter who asked about her vaccine injury and started on a rant about how he doesn't get enough credit.

...Desantis and Hallie need to stay in the race.
