They are doing a stage production of Life of Brian. He was told by writers to cut they scene where they poke fun at a trans woman. He said he's refusing to do so.
Good for them.

Here's the scene in the original movie.

Slight derail - Holy Grail is in theaters on 12/3 and 12/6 to celebrate the 48 and a half birthday of the film

Life of Brian is by far the best among many great Monty Python films.

If a person is a Christian, that can't laugh at Christianity, this movie is not for them.
Otherwise from beginning to end I find The Life of Brian their most complete movie.
It is a very funny movie that I have always enjoyed from the 1980s, when I first saw it, until today.

If one thinks this movie is funny, one should not vote for Democrats.

So is ace Ventura. The entire ending is pure gold that would likely be cancelled in today's age.

There are going to be so many upset "women" with giant Adam's apples and 5 o'clock shadows. Oh the humanity. The ugliest people on God's green Earth are going to have to sit and take the disrespect.

Holy Grail is awesome, but I have to agree, Life of Brian is a more complete movie for me too.

Holy Grail is hilarious, but just unravels at the end.

If Trans people want to be treated equally (same as women, gays, blacks, etc), then they need to be able to handle getting made fun of like everyone else.

Being in HS in the mid 70s, watched a lot of Monty Python TV episodes. Quite a different type of humor compared to the American versions at the time.

Somehow I saw more Benny Hill than Monty Python, but as a teen boy there was more to see and less to understand.

But both the Monty Python troupe and Benny Hill were comic geniuses

A whole group of us got haf one Saturday night in HS & went to a midnight movie that played this. I still think that's the hardest I've ever laughed at anything.

They were on point with that 40 years ago. It is still true today. Men that think they are women cannot have babies, but they have the right to have babies. They won't. But they have the right.

I don't have to believe they will have a baby
