In a speech in the 40th anniversary of the Beriut barracks bombing, Gen. Eric Smith pass along the USMC warning:

Quote:

"They're there also to come in peace, if called, but they bring with them the weapons of war, if needed," Smith said to whoops and applause from the crowd. "For those that are in the area, if that MEU has to go in, if you target them, someone else will raise your children.

That's scary. I'm pretty sure white Christian Grandmas are classified as terrorists by our DOJ.

A not so veiled signal that we will deploy that MEU into Israel. It will be deployed to the border of Lebanon to try and keep Hezbollah bottled up when the IDF pushes into Gaza in force.

It's sheer and utter madness.
The flames of the Imperium burn brightly in the hearts of men repulsed by degenerate modernity. Souls aflame with love of goodness, truth, beauty, justice, and order.

The self loathing isolationist sanctimony is getting a little overdone, everyone.

We all know you're against the latest thing….so we can burn money domestically instead of overseas.

It's like Kenny Rodgers says, sometimes you gotta fight when you're a man. You have to do it more than you want when you are THE man, if you want to stay that way and reap the benefits. Power has a price for sure, but it's always, always better than being powerless.

Yeah, I love that song. That is the correct mindset.

We aren't fighting though. We aren't doing what is necessary to stop the madness. We just have politicians that use these conflicts to justify more and more spending so they can keep getting their kickbacks from Raytheon.

Have we moved an MEU into the area ? ? ? Why ? ? ? I know we have 2 Carrier Groups there but have not heard of a MEU being sent. That is a whole new picture if true.

They do that in peacetime too. Got to be ready for the next fight, because you have to fight eventually to stay on top and you must be prepared to win. We get an immense economic benefit from everyone else on the planet having to account for our military security capability. Unfortunately, the benefit does go disproportionately to the political class and their defense industry supporters but it doesn't mean that most of the rest of us don't also benefit to a lesser degree.

If you are an immediate threat, the other side is that much less likely to start some crap. Why do you think we go out of our way to advertise our presence? It's not for strategic surprise.

I hate that we have to do stuff like this and spend money on it, but you can't let millions of cretins and thugs run rampant around parts of the globe too long, or you end up with them on your doorsteps eventually. It's more difficult to get at us because of geography, but not impossible.

We're on top globally right now in no small part because oceans separated us from the big threats in the World Wars and the technology wasn't there to reach us. It won't be that way if there's another global conflict. The best we can do is try to stay on top to discourage the world's aggressors from trying to challenge us here.

We've already let millions of cretins and thugs into the country. They aren't on the front lawn, or on the doorstep, they are in the living room and raiding our fridge. Hell the Taliban rode the Biden express right into Michigan. We apprehended terrorists at the border and don't have any idea how many got through. We have these cretins in the US House of Representatives. Our leaders are clowns and thieves. They spend billions supporting conflicts half way around the globe and do nothing to defend our borders from the same dangerous elements hell bent on our destruction. The FBI is the domestic agency supposed to protect us from harm but their focus is on persecuting their political enemies. People have forgotten 9/11. Allah has delivered a golden opportunity, wrapped in silk, delivered by seven perfumed 15yo virgins on white Arabian stallions. I can't imagine they don't exploit it at some point. Maybe it's just internal bickering about which juicy targets to hit first and which terrorist group gets to claim responsibility.

Let us know when we actually start fighting, we have not done so since WWII.
