Isn't this akin to a threat of violence? Should be immediately removed just like with any other threats (guns, bombing, etc).

it feels especially threatening to me as it relates to Jewish studentsTAMUallen said:Im Gipper said:

Let's agree to disagree. Terroristic statements supporting terrorists are loud and now visible threats. You can't go to an airport and do that, why is a local school acceptable? They have the same laws on firearms
Would a student be expelled for chanting the south will rise again or singing Dixie to disrupt normal school activities?

punish the kids for disruptive and hateful behavior, throw them in detention for a month.
simple.
I'd go with the rest of the year and require apology letters and community service at a Jewish Center. High schools should be for learning and not disruption.

It's not a threat under the law. Not trying to be combative, just telling you what the law is on this.
A student very well may be expelled for chanting south will rise again given the liberal schools. And that kid would have a great civil rights lawsuit against that school.!

Probably not a good idea to have the chemistry teacher supervise a group of students who support a cause with a propensity for blowing things up.
They dont care about the law when they assult or stab Jews. Look at what happened when Iran called for a day of rage?Im Gipper said:

100% not all those protesting are entitled to constitutional protections as they are NOT all American citizensPookers said:
This is what happens when you have constitutional rights but also have really dumb immigration policies.
Right, but we dealing with a totally different culture, set of moral / religious values and norms as to what is acceptable and just in a society. Back to immigration, always.AgNav93 said:

It wasn't in the video, but if they truly "chanted for the genocide of Israel" as the tweet suggests, they should be expelled.
Hint: they didn't chant for genocide... But you know, it feels good to say and get worked up over feels.
the chant about from the river to the sea these days is explicitly about eradicating Jews from that area. Utterly.
EARTH!

When you wrap your face in a keffiyeh like this you know exactly what you’re doing…you know the kind of image you’re trying to project.
When you attempt to light the Israeli flag on fire, you know exactly what you’re doing.
And to be… pic.twitter.com/qClK3UPcHt
