I'm well into middle age, and can remember a lot of past international situations. 9/11 being the worst to date, but with the DEFCON scare of '83 in second. With that said, I think that we are going to wake up tomorrow to a situation like we have never seen. Im not trying to stoke fears or anger, But hope that I am wrong, and that peace quickly ensues. No one is going to win from this situation.

I've thought about deleting this before hitting send, but I simply want to say what is on my mind after closely following this evolving story over the course of the week.

Again, I hope that I am wrong, and I want to be wrong. But it does not feel good at the moment.

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Frankly the Middle East needs a real war. We aren't going to have peace in that region as long as the world tolerates a group of nations openly pushing a narrative of destroying another nation and its people. I'd be perfectly fine with telling Iran and Israel to have at it with the caveat of "no nukes". We've spent the past 60+ years in a cease fire and pretending that's peace. It's not. Let them fight til there's a winner.
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.

I don't think "we" will be in a war unless another party enters the chat. But Israel is more than capable of handling Hamas by themselves.

And a few Arab nations would actually benefit greatly from democracy, if they would ever actually try it for more than one election to select the next dictator.

But they are just innately too tribal. A large part of the reason the continent of Africa has never been able to get their act together, either.

Way too easy to play one against the other for other nations to exploit their natural resources. From European nations going the coliny route, to the Soviets, to China. They are better being led than being leaders as their concept of being part of a nation does not resonate more than being part of their tribe does.

The Middle East has been at its most peaceful when the majority of nations have dictators, democracy has never worked in the Middle East.

There's no way this doesn't spill into our streets... maybe not tomorrow. Maybe not next week or even next year. But at some point, our children and grandchildren will be forced to deal with what Israel is dealing with. And it will come from within our own borders - or lack thereof.

Edited for grammar / clarity.

I couldn't agree more.

While i want Israel to come out on top, if they go that route (fingers crossed they do) let the chips fall where they may.

But that is what you are doing by broadcasting your anxiety along with millions of others,

everyone absorbing each other's anxiety which stokes fear and anger among other things.

And then we watch people who are unable to regulate their emotions act out in a variety of inappropriate and uncivil ways.

If people kept their **** to themselves and disconnected from perpetual emotionally arousing, anxiety provoking media, in all its forms, life would be better.

Gotcha, just a general "something wicked this way comes" warning about the future. I thought maybe it was something specific and haven't followed the war news since this morning.

If it gets out of hand and Israel gets attacked from multiple sides then this new world will be a world without Israel. Because whoever is in charge of the Biden admin will not put boots on the ground to help them. Sure they'll lob a few bombs perhaps but no way the democrats get deeply involved and risk being involved in a full blown Middle East war.

The Muslims are not going to stop. They were "founded" as a military to kill everyone else and they don't want to "coexist". Some of the Luke-warm ones that don't take it that seriously, don't care. But, their leaders do. They only understand death and they think it's an honor to die for their book.

I say we give them their wish since we can't be neighbors and I will never convert to Islam.

Like a new world without trailers full of poor white people. Even if the children didn't have fathers, they still are self sufficient enough to raise theirselves or siblings. Maybe that's why they want a "new" world of being black. No more simple cars for the trailers, no more industry building trailers for poor or humble whites. Only tents for their cities.

I still can't get over the government telling Americans in Israel to pound sand and you are own your own to get out when they coordinate flights from other countries to "immigrate" non Americans people here. Everything is racial with this administration.

And I'd like to know if these flights are included in the illegals coming over. We already let in 10M+ with Biden. I don't believe anything the government says. Believe your eyes.
