This is LSU, but I'm sure it holds true across the country.

Class is very easy but there is no learning being done. Lots of writing with minimal instruction on how to do it. Just got to put the effort in. She is also very political. If you want to get a grip on what you're going to be dealing with just look up her Instagram.

Rudest prof I've ever had. Seems nice enough during lectures but actually horrible in emails. I resigned in Nov 2020 and, to this day (March 2021), she hasn't signed the paper I repeatedly asked her to sign. The material itself isn't hard. Poems can be lengthy but an easy enough class to pass if you don't mind reading or are a good skimmer.

Trash. Was very vague with assignment directions and was rude when giving her non-helpful feedback. Definitely would not ever take again.

Class was canceled a lot and she is laid back.

She always canceled class so the end of the semester we got loaded with things. It sucked so bad. She is also very rude. She does not help or give feedback on papers so you have to use the book to know what to do. DO NOT TAKE.

Wow... when I was a student at A&M in EE all I worried about with professors was how well their English as a second language would be!

Sorry. What are we supposed to be pissed off about? Because she broadcasts her political views on a twitter bio? Oh no, the horror.

I enjoyed the liberal arts classes I took at A&M, with one exception and that is because the prof sucked as a teacher.

Of course, professors then rarely got political in class. They taught the material, cared about their students, and wanted us to learn.

Dr. Krammer was the best professor I ever took a class from.

Now today most liberal arts professors are either antifa, or antifa sympathizers.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

I agree, I had a good English professor at A&M, but that was 37 years ago. A lot has changed since then.

not every post in politics is meant to piss you off, but it's clear there's a correlation between liberal arts and liberalism.

That's still a proper worry in most engineering departments...haha!

Not because she broadcasts her views, but because taxpayer money is being used to pay a mentally deranged person to teach our young people.

Its here because the OP wanted a wider audiance for his Tweet

Is it still a Tweet, when the site is X?

Because she is too stupid to run a lemonade stand, nevermind teach a college class in anything.

first, learn to spell audience.

second, it has nothing to do with me wanting a wider audience for my post.

but nice try, fella.

I majored in English and had mainly great professors. I don't recall any of them sharing any political views, not even the lady with dyed black hair and a leather jacket. Honestly can't remember any profs sharing political views.

Of course, that was 25 years ago...

Well, we now know one poster who obviously never took English or any other class that would teach them spelling or punctuation.

I attend many banquets for the various departments and colleges and it is amazing to see the number of foreign students and professors in attendance. In one awards banquet I was at a table with at least 8 students who spoke poor English and they were also older than local Texas grads.

In my days at A&M, the faculty advisor for College Republicans was a philosophy prof. Doubt that you would find a conservative one now, but it wasn't always the case. Then again, probably few conservative profs in any college now.

Did you not get the part where she pulls politics into her classroom?

Clearly, she talked about politics in class. This isn't just about checking out her bio. Try to keep up.

Took a class with an anthropology prof who made us listen to his local talk radio show. He did nothing but talk about politics.

Took a summer Pol-Sci class at UT-PA and had a very similar experience. In a class full of 99% hispanics, we had a really passionate white dude teaching politics in an unbiased way. Motivated everyone and it was a fun learning experience -- in retrospect, much better value than the 300+ person generic classes in business school.

Anyway, this prof described the political spectrum ...there was center, liberals, conservatives, etc. And on the far left edge, he called it out as radicals. He never said what he was, but the whole class had him pegged as a conservative, maybe b/c he's a white dude in the valley?

Anyway, he admits at the end that he's a far left radical. Blew us away.

1) He was honest in his teaching
2) He'd probably be to the right of the wacky radicals these days. Which is saying how much they've shifted in 25 years.
3) He labeled it accurately. RADICALS. Libs love to relabel and *******ize the english language so they can lie about their motives. There's nothing progressive about the commie radical ways.

I had an EE prof at A&M who urged us to get outraged over some stupid made-up injustice. We all looked at each other and sat expressionless.

It was clear he was disappointed, and he was in the wrong place to create idiot activists: 80's A&M engineering school.
