So, we all see what's going on in Israel right now plus all the videos coming out in Europe with the Muslims celebrating the massacre. It's been theorized constantly there are sleeper cells all over the world in the west. It's true I'm sure.

But let's say the gloves finally come off. Sleeper cells get active in Europe again - I'm talking trains, subways, large historical tourist areas. Also here in the U.S. - a few selected suicide bombings in DC, NYC, and Boston or Philadelphia to try and destroy some of our monuments. All committed in the name of Allah and pro Hammas or ISIS.

How does the west respond? Do we? I think it's time for everyone to have an uncomfortable discussion about Islam and its followers. Sure, everyone knows the nice Muslim lady who serves you coffee or whatever, but she still wears the garb doesn't she? What's she been doing today?

Of course the collective western government response will be to ignore it or deflect and blame it on the extremists. That's BS. It's going to be up to the people it seems like. So what would you do, if a part of Houston was blown up by Muslims? How about Kyle field on a packed Saturday?

These things flare up routinely, this one will likely be mostly petered out within weeks at most. More long term? Yeah, Muslims will completely displace western Europeans mostly without a fight, that ship has sailed. As far as what happens in North America that'll be up to our new Hispanic population to decide during this century, because we'll be fully Hispanic before Muslims are here in great numbers. This is an interesting question worth exploring. What does the Hispanic majority of the United States do when they finally take full control of the government and thus, the nuclear arsenal. I'd guess they'd still be pro Israel but yes we are going to see a similar struggle here between Hispanics who are all in on America and those that still wave the Mexican flag every day.

From a much wider view I actually wonder more about how India and China and Russia will deal with Islam after we're gone. I don't think they'll be willingly submissive like the west. But that won't happen until after I'm gone so I'll never know.

Hard to know the dynamics of those in power in 100 years.

I honestly don't know, but my point was just that I don't think the result will be up to our current population anyway. Unless I'm temporarily brain-dead I can't think of any Hispanic countries that have any kind of meaningful minority populations, at least not dramatically different people. I have no idea what to expect when we have a country that's overwhelmingly Hispanic but still with fairly large Asian and black and middle-eastern societies.

I've often thought that blacks will have it the worst. I lived in Laredo for most of my childhood where my mom and I were two of the very few whites around and there was only one black family I was ever aware of there. The other part of my childhood (divorced parents) was growing up in northeast Texas and I can assure you that I heard more overt anti-black racist (but pretty racist in general, I was "the Gringo" even to my friends) sentiment in south Texas than I ever heard from east Texas whites.

And Hispanics are not going to go for any sort of collective guilt about blacks like whites have. They better get their reparations while they can. And so when it comes to Islam I'd imagine that a society that is much more Catholic than what we currently have is probably going to be less welcoming to Muslims. But who the hell knows. All I know is that I won't be deciding any of this. I love Hispanic people individually and culturally, but not so much politically, but they are definitely different than our current majority and that will be a big factor in how this plays out,

I won't argue that. Interestingly enough,tacos al pastor were brought to Mexico by the Lebanese, which has a pretty significant population of descendents in Mexico. Carlos Slim is of Lebanese descent.

I think most people have a general thought in mind of what "Hispanic" looks like (Euro + Indigenous mixed to varying degrees), but since it just means "originating from Latin America" or something along those lines, you wind up having tons of purely European Hispanics along with purely African Hispanics to go along with the wide variety of mixing that has occurred amongst the Europeans, Indigenous, and Africans to varying degrees depending on the country.

But when he moved to Medina he became more violent promoting conversion by the sword. Muslims believe that the Sura's written later abrogate the ones written earlier. Go read Sura 9, the last one written. The violence and hate displayed in that one Sura (chapter like in the Bible), is very sobering. I wouldn't agree that Muslims believe like Christians. Islam is totally works oriented. There is no Grace in Islam. You do and do some more with the only sure way to Muslim heaven is to die as a martyr. They do believe that Christians and Jews re-wrote the Bible for their own nefarious reasons. To the Muslim Abraham, through the Biblical prophets to Jesus were all Muslim.
