I'm wondering what's taking Israel so long to strike back at Iran. Are they just too busy in Lebanon at the moment? I figured they would already know their targets prior to Iran's attack, and thought maybe they were just waiting for the anniversary date to make a statement, but now that's come and gone.

If they're going to, in fact, go after leadership in the mullah ranks, they may want them to relax a little and not all be hiding 200 feet underground etc. Plus, yes, they really are pretty busy with both Lebanon and Gaza at the moment, so waiting will give them more operational capacity in terms of satellites/command focus. Just my 2 cents, of course.

They are mopping up in Gaza but still active. Very active in the North against Hezbollah. There is no reason to hurry and knee jerk a response to Iran. Sometimes just the fear of the response is a powerful pschyop and cause Iran to stay vigilant, leaders to stay afraid and hidden.

It is very hard to maintain a red alert state of readiness for a protracted time.

Hezbollah starting to tap into its supply of higher end guided ballistic missiles, rather than just volley firing unguided rockets. May have decided it is in a "use it or lose it" situation as Israeli attacks continue.

ESCALATION

Seriously, it is incredible how quickly Israel has decimated the Hebollah leadership. It's as close to flawless intelligence and prosecution of a battle plan as I have ever heard seen on this scale.

This White House never tires of being on the wrong side of every issue related to Islamo-Fascism.

I hope the start of this new year in Israeli's actions post 10/7 against these scum results in their quick and comprehensive annihilation so that the nation can return to peace.

Hopefully that peace can be achieved with a help of a new Administration returning us to the Abraham Accords, limiting Iranian assistance for terrorism, and actually assisting Israel in eliminating the rats instead of giving them aid and comfort.
