Per other reports, in this strike Isreal targeted an underground storage area. It was believed to be a site containing ballistic missiles and rockets.

Telling folks to head south, within Gaza. I see the IDF confirms two armored brigades are operating now in Jabaliya.

An editorial in the Jpost with what I think is a fairly decent idea of a Gaza protectorate. Excerpt:
Quote:

An essential element, and duty, of the regional partners in a Gazan protectorate would be not only its physical reconstruction but also the deconstruction of its radical political and ideological structures. That must be supervised and executed from the outset by having the moderate Muslim partners not only reconstruct the mosques and the madrassas [educational institutions] but also to train and employ the imams and the religious teachers by introducing and educating their moderate form of Islam.

Israel and the United States could devise a modern educational curriculum based on languages, mathematics, sciences, hi-tech, medicine, business studies elements to give the next generation of Gazans the grounding and skills for future success. To protect this project against malevolent intruders and criminals, it would be necessary to create a multinational policing force. This cannot be surrendered to any United Nations involvement, given its egregious failures in Gaza and in Lebanon.

This temporary Abraham Accords policing must ensure that there will no lapse back into old bad habits by the population. The huge investment of money, resources, and personnel must be protected from outbreaks of local grievances, civil wars, and terrorism. Those days are over.

Not going to post all of the tweets, but Iran and Lebanon have issued orders to clear their airspace. Israel striking within Syria, targeted weapons warehouses near Homs.

Israel making further ground incursion into Lebanon and the UN peacekeeping troops that were supposed to be in the area to prevent Hezbollah from violating the 2006 agreement are telling Israel to stop because they are scared.

Way more believable than megatron's X. I actually think this has probably been proposed considering past commentary by US officials.

Pretty sure he is Russian. Could be wrong though. I'm very skeptical of that poster/account.

Qatar spokesperson: "it wasn't us, we never dealt with Sinwar, ourselves."
Quote:

A senior Qatari diplomat has denied claims of direct communication with Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and stated that Qatar's mediation team has not met with the families of hostages held by Hamas.
Speaking exclusively to The Jerusalem Post, the diplomat clarified that all mediation efforts are conducted exclusively through representatives from Hamas's political office in Doha.

"Khalil Al-Hayah has been leading negotiations on behalf of Hamas since day one," the diplomat stated, emphasizing that Sinwar has never been involved in direct talks.

Khalil al-Hayah is a senior Hamas political figure. He has been heavily involved in the terrorist organization's diplomatic efforts, often representing it in ceasefire talks and other negotiations. According to the Qatari diplomat, Al-Hayah has led the discussions with external mediators throughout the current hostage crisis.
I think it is pretty likely at this point that Sinwar is dead. IDF also released images of him moving through tunnels with his satchel of TNT on his side and hostages.

They are aiming at the ammonia production plant. It's hard to figure out where the impacts are relative to the industrial area of the city. The view from the last one looks like it is from near the ridge at the top of Mt Carmel looking down towards the bay.

Quote:

After the Second Lebanon War, the Haifa municipality ordered a report from a British company, in order to mitigate the risks to the ammonia plant. The report revealed that in the event of a hit on the ammonia plant, it will release a cloud ten miles in diameter, and will cover all of Haifa and Acre.

"Researchers who conducted the studies in the 1990's concluded that there could be 70,000 casualties," said professor Amos Natua from the Technion. "The State Comptroller released a statement in 2003 that the number will likely be much higher."

May be a psyop attempt, but would be interesting.

And yes I'm dumb I didn't see all the photoshopping. Would not shock me at all though. I do think they have some people pretty deep in the Iranian government.
