They already won, its just how long it takes to complete the mission.

They got lucky, or maybe someone paid a ransom.

Israel needs to operate on the assumption that all the hostages are dead already and deliver whatever retaliation they see fit.

I have thought of that same question.

My guess is because they are Americans, that it may have been a different group of terrorists (not taking orders from Hamas) who were paid off by either the USG or by the family to let them go.

Israel is operating in a manner that all hostages will be rescued or recovered while retaliating against hamas and hamas supporters as they see fit.

God only knows, I could probably speculate however, it would result in me being banned.

I had not seen this Youtube station before- it takes the regular Israeli News Broadcasts from channels such as Kan 11 and Chadashot 12 and translates with English subtitles. Awesome-

Hamas thought they won on 7 October

but appears like there may be a new Israeli Ritz Carlton going up on the beach in Gaza soon. Soon to be renamed "South Tel Aviv"

Israelis have a pretty crazy sense of humor-

one of them says "ahalan wasalam l'gaza!" which is the arabic greeting and then:

"looks like Israeli Independence Day has come early this year!!"

I'm still quite confident that Hamas won't be "completely annihilated" by the end of this. Definitely seriously weakened and reduced as a real threat for hopefully a long time, but not permanently gone. Hell, they've got leaders living happily in London among other places. And in the meantime, one or more of the other 500 Islamist militant groups will just take their place. It's going to be endless whack-a-mole in the future as it's always been.

Israel has a long history of sending operatives to other countries to assassinate war criminals.

No you can't get them all. But what you do is make them pay severely for everything they do. This go round should be kill as many as you can and Gaza becomes part of Israel. Only way this works is if they know the consequences will be severe.

An argument could be made that Israel really needed to wipe out around a million residents of Gaza to send a message strongly enough to resonate in the muslim world, such that it would not attempt to eradicate Israeli's via terrorism like this again soon. Leveling empty buildings, collapsing tunnels, and providing incubators etc. isn't going to do that.

Houthi's in Yemen, who operate with the sophistication/moral level of primitive cave men, are still launching strikes today, and the IDF is trying to placate the bleeding hearts domestically and abroad.

I have been trying to find stuff today to share that doesn't anger me on this subject/war, and finally have this;

It's truly amazing to me, with this type of building-to-building warfare by their military force, that Israel has taken so few casualties on their side.

It just shows how dominating their retaliation for the atrocities is against Hamas.

I hope this is the point Israel is trying to show Hezbollah and anyone else that attacks Israel will face. Also, Israel will not stop until all the terrorists that planned and any they have proof was involved with the attack are dead.

I don't think that message is being received.

Meanwhile, he laments 'growing Islamophobia.'

Quote:

Imam Shaykh Mongy El-Quesny echoed Safadi's statement. During the prayer that he led on Friday, he talked about how the media has inaccurately represented the Palestinian people's suffering.

Donned in a Palestinian flag scarf, the imam detailed to mosque congregants how Islam is a religion of peace and how Muslims should stand up for Palestinians who are suffering.

"The question is, why is the media not picking up on both sides of the spectrum? You know, why are they not challenging the other side?" Sadafi said. "If you're pro-Israel, you should be challenging Israel to be better… If you're really one of the pro-Israeli, that's what you should be doing. You shouldn't be accepting the fact that 12 days later, a city's being demolished carpet-bombed. That's a second that achieved anything but more depth of destruction. So when will that challenge come from the media?"

A bus took Northwest Indiana congregants to downtown Chicago on Saturday to protest Israel's attacks on Gaza, and plead for a ceasefire.

El-Quesny and Almoazen said they think the best thing for people amidst growing tensions in the Middle East is education.

"The problem is we have a lack of education," El-Quesny said. "Information is nothing, right? Information is like a few pages."
An unrepentant liar.

It's impressive so far and happily so, but I don't think their opponents are really soldiers in the traditional sense. It was never going to be some kind of Stalingrad battle with actual organized large-scale resistance, attacking machine gun nests and such. Those jackasses are conditioned to stab civilians and then run, not fight pitched battles against armies.

Iran is Persian Shia, a different sect of muslims from the Palestinian Arab Sunni muslims.

This should not shock anyone with half a brain, or knows anything about the middle east / muslim sects. They are effectively enemies within the region.

Shia = Iran / Iraq for the most part
Sunni = Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, UAE, Pakistan, etc.

The problem with the tweet above is 75% support the attack. 98% hate america (ie, non-muslims).

This is 100% a religious war for eternity for this group of muslims. 75% of them apparently.

More to that point:

Islamic Arabs 'on the ground' in Israel/gaza/West Bank are pretty clear in their preferences.

Still waiting on marches/demands Hamas release all hostages (now purportedly held in 'care centers') prior to 'ceasefire' negotiations.

I am pretty positive that at some point in the near future, Hizbullah is going to find out what happens when you F around on the Northern Border as they have been doing the last month.

Israel will not allow a situation to continue

where their citizens are internally displaced from the borders because of the threat of attacks.

I still think Israel should start a war with Lebanon, kick their ass, then make Lebanon take all the Palestinians in the settlement.

The Israeli's actually consider the Lebanese people their closest 'nearby' allies. The government is a mess due to Hezbollah/Iran no doubt but I don't think that is their intent. Hezbollah also doesn't get along theologically with Islamic Jihad (Shia vs. Sunni nut jobs both backed by Iran), which is pretty funny.

Anyway, Hamas wants more.

Does anyone have a link to how many rocket strikes/day are launched since O7?

And why is Interpol or the CIA not taking those known terrorists into custody???

Same team.

The bigger question is when will Israel take them out. That goes for the leaders in Qatar too.

Yes, Israel doesn't need the CIA/Interpol getting in the way..... They are masters of making international targets become dead, and playing the long game to do it if they have to....

Yeah, don't be surprised if all the Hamas leaders are unalived 1 by 1 over the next few years.
