IDF pounding them....

Going off right now!
the last 12 hours it has sounded like combat from Normandy or the Battle of the Bulge

IDF is taking it to them in the heart of Gaza, hopefully they have already overrun and liberated the Shifa hospital area south of the Shati camp.

From the ISW Website:

Local sources reported heavy armed clashes in the vicinity of the al Shifa Hospital along the Gaza Strip coast. A Palestinian journalist said that IDF forces are operating inside several buildings in the vicinity of the hospital.

Local sources said there were clashes on Charles de Gaulle Street and near the al Abbas police station which is approximately one kilometer south of the al Shifa Hospital.

Local media said al Qassem Brigadesthe militant wing of Hamasmilitia fighters are clashing with advancing Israeli forces on the al Nasr Street northeast of al Shifa Hospital. The media outlet also said senior al Qassem Brigades commanders have already fled the area.

The al Qassem Brigades have employed a variety of capabilities to attack IDF forces and vehicles since the Israeli ground operations began. The militia fighters have claimed to attack IDF tanks and bulldozers with Yassin 105 rocket-propelled grenades (RPG) and have engaged in small-arms combat with IDF ground forces.

The al Qassem Brigades claimed on November 9 to bomb a gathering of IDF soldiers using a drone in an unspecified location, which they previously claimed to do on November 1.The al Qassem Brigades claimed to fire mortars at Israeli forces and RPGs at an Israeli military vehicle near Juhr al Dik, which is consistent with CTP-ISW's assessment that Palestinian militias are attempting to harass and disrupt Israeli ground lines of communication.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces are operating near the al Quds Hospital in the Tal al Hawa neighborhood.[16] Locals reported that there are civilian injuries and that the IDF is besieging those in the hospital.

Israeli forces and tanks advanced inland in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood west of Jabaliya. An independent analyst on X (Twitter) geolocated footage of Israeli tanks operating near the Rantisis Specialist Clinic in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

An employee inside the al Nasr Hospital said that the hospital is surrounded by tanks and heavy gunfire. The al Quds Brigadesthe militant wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ)launched mortars at Israeli forces operating near Karama.

The IDF conducted an operation to assassinate Nukhba operatives, who are the naval commandos of the al Qassem Brigades. The IDF killed a company commander and platoon commander, one of whom was directing offensive activity in western Jabaliya.

Make no mistake…..this isn't about Gaza or the "Palestinians." This is about a "religion" bent on political manifesto to wipe out anyone who isn't Muslim.

Good on Israel for wiping out these savages

Oh, I used that phrasing on purpose. Not that I insist on *killing* them all. Just a forced population transfer, like the WW2 Allies did to the Germans east of the Oder-Neisse Line.

Where to send them? I dunno. Iran? Yemen? Siberia?

Anyhow, once the expulsion is complete, wipe out Gaza's name and memory by renaming the city after some right-wing Knesset member.

It will send a message to the West Bank residents to keep them in line.

Oh look- an Arab Muslim serving in the IDF as an officer is telling other Arab Muslims to flee northern Gaza so they won't get hurt.

how many Palestinian Jews are serving in Hamas? or in Gaza? or in the West Bank?
oh right- that would be zero.

and yet the pro-Hamas supporters claim it's the Jews who are "ethnic cleansing"

Just a massive amount of ordinance overnight.

Hamas-backer propagandist getting sent home from Europe/UK:

Quote:

Paid Palestinians martyrs.

PA pays $1500 per adult or child killed in the struggle to kill Jews or if you are killed as human shield. Plus the next of kin gets $340 per month pension for life.

If you kill a Jew you get $10,000 plus an apartment.

8% of PA $4.4 billion annual budget goes for martyr payments.

No wonder the Palestinian women produce 'extra' disposable children for martyrdom.

Palestine birth rate is 3.34 per woman.

Human shield killed children make excellent human emotions appeal for donations, and are fundraising tools to them.

So 11,000 then….seems like a good start.

The enemies of Israel in Gaza are in the "Find Out" step of FAFO. They will continue to FO that they miscalculated and that their bloodlust wasn't worth the absolute walloping the IDF is going to continue to lay down despite international pressure. Beyond that, who knows? I'm sure they know that it is a conundrum without an easy solution and that Hamas or something like them will always rise again and pose a threat. All that they can do is learn from what happened and deter future attacks. I can think that something of that scale hitting the particular places that it hit in the way in which it went about it can't be allowed to happen again, and now they know that they can't ever leave that many civilians so vulnerable ever again.

Well, since you didn't catch it the first time…..

Eliminate the Hamas leadership

confiscate and destroy their large missiles and rockets

demolish their military headquarters

destroy their tunnel attack system

destroy their munitions factories

finish killing over 10,000 terrorists

It will take years to rebuild their rat mazes, leadership, trained "soldiers", and weapons supply after the IDF finishes. It's not that hard.

This is a ridiculous statement that people need to stop posting. There is no way you can force a population transfer of 2 million people. Nobody will take them. Israel is going to deal with the issue as they always have. Kill as many of their enemies as they can until they scurry back into their hiding places for another twenty years or so then start all over. There is no end to the problem.

I agree. Right this very month (or since O7 anyway), Pakistan has deported something like 200K Afghans already, while declaring that more than 1.7 million will be forced out because, wait for it, they are responsible for an outsize share of terrorist attacks (14 of 24 suicide bombings this year by misunderstanderers of the religion of peace) in Pakistan (though our own idiotic government claims there may be 25K who might be eligible for asylum in the US).

Throughout history, including within the Middle East, unwanted non-citizens have been deported en masse repeatedly/consistently. Heck, it happened to the jews a couple times, quite famously. More recently, I notice the Turks aren't real eager to apologize to the various groups their predecessors have routed/expelled/committed genocide against, not limited to the Greeks/Byzantines, or Armenians, despite their protestations toward the 'children of gaza.'

Now, Israel has disclaimed an intent to expel the 2.2 million Gazans into the Sinai etc., for now, but at the same time the latter have vowed to repeat attacks against Israel in the future, so I think they are determined to force this position to change. If in fact the war does widen to the north and south, I think the Israeli's will have no real choice but to force such a change in objectives/strategy.

You couldn't be further from the truth. There is no will strong enough to find a place to take 2 million Palestinians. It is too stupid to even discuss as a remote possibility.

Needing to do what must be done is what I said, I never said transfer.

"Truth" changes. What matters is the will to do what needs to be done, whether that is exile or mass graves. Israel could have blown up the Temple Mount in 1967 war, but they didn't have the will to do it even though that had troops inside.

we just heard IDF tanks on the main feed- and it sounds like possible tank fire and machine gun fire getting more intense

which means the IDF has continued to advance to the camera area south of Shifa hospital. intense small arms fire when a few days ago it was artillery and bombing.

No Israel will help rebuild Gaza and put proper schooling in place. Will have to monitor the place closely with military.

Westernize the place. Confiscate all arms completely and control the incoming supplies

They definitely won't let this happen again and let terrorists take over

If it was possible to forcibly relocate 15 million Germans after WW2, why is it not possible to relocate a smaller number of people today?

This is indeed a problem. If Egypt and Jordan had just given the Palestinians citizenship in the first place, Hamas wouldn't be a thing today.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that this is what will happen. Continual needless deaths for centuries into the future.
