Israel has no use for their primitive unguided rockets. They're very unreliable and are only useful as a terror weapon

I mean, before I lost all my guns in a boating accident, I had a couple that were far from my first choice and would only be used if the zombie apocalypse got to that point, but they were still in my stash.

Never know how long this war will go on, or if they'll need to stockpile emergency arms in case they have to fight wars on multiple fronts.

No. Israel has actual weapons. They don't need fertilizer rockets that are only useful for attacking civilians

Turn around is fair play.

Take the unguided homemade rockets, move them to outside Gaza City and launch them towards Gaza City.

right, but there's not an unlimited supply. no telling how long this war will go on, how many new fronts may open up and whether western powers like US/UK will continue to supply weapons as needed, or if they bend to the muh palestinian ethnic cleansing mobs. weapons are weapons if it gets desperate enough

Douglas Murray was spot on, as usual. Just so you all know, he's not a journalist working for some news outlet. He's an author and a public figure as a political commentator. He won't get fired for what he said because he's not a reporter. One of his most widely known books is "The Strange Death of Europe" which does tie into the issue of Islamic extremism. Just wanted to bring him to your attention if he wasn't already on your radar. His takes are often spot on, and this is a great example.

If I were in the IDF, I would most likely prefer to have one of those fertilizer bombs fired at me than try to fire one myself. Would love to know the early detonation rate of those things - that's one thing Hamas WON'T put on TikTok.

Okay Ags-

this is the single best video I have found over the last month. I hope it's both informative and meaningful. Real kudos to an actual journalist at the UK Sun in London.

It's amazing to actually hear from an unbiased reporter informing the public of reality.

The reporter kept saying how the weapons were "hidden in plain sight" and that the civilians "had no idea". I don't buy it.

Love seeing this stuff, but always wonder why IDF doesn't confiscate this for their own armories. I get they're probably not as advanced as what they have, but it's the equivalent of watching a zombie movie and one of the good guys gets mauled by a zombie and the survivors just run off without taking the victim's weapon.
You make a logical point but not an applicable point.

The IDF is using the most high technology Western and domestic Israeli technology- which is world class and often times best in the world.

the Hamas terrorists are using homemade explosives and rockets which they put together in their machine shops. It's not any more advanced than what the PLO did in South Lebanon in 1979.

The IDF did capture and use equipment from the 1948, 56, 67, and 73 wars- you can see it all over military museums across Israel.

I was thinking the same thing-

I think what the reporter was trying to say is that the little house the rockets were located in was covered up (before getting blown apart) and you can see some of the corrugated iron walls are now in the sand when the Engineers move to the missiles

which in a way makes Hamas look worse for hiding amongst the population.

but you are correct, every civilian probaby had a good idea of what was sitting in a large metal shack in the middle of the beach.

Good idea but the IDF doesnt' need to do that

roughly 15% of all Palestinian terrorist launches from Hamas and PIJ Islamic Jihad fall short and crash into Gazans.

that's over 1100 missiles where the oppressed Palestinians blew up other oppressed Palestinians

I starred you but if things get that desperate, then Israel will take their weapons from the Yom Kippur War out of storage

and if things ever get to be that bad, then it is basically the Zombie apocalypse or chas v'chalilah a WMD exchange with Iran.

Thanks for posting. The imbedded reporter and Israeli officer are excellent in showing and explaining how Hamas uses civilians to hide weaponry and tunnels.

It will take a long time to ferret out all the Hamas scum still hiding underground, but it has to be done methodically and completely.

I am starting to see more and more about this story-

it does seem strange that in these videos there are a mass of civilians where it looks like they are trying to get past a gate, then weapons open up on them.

of course Hamas and their fellow travelers of the left will proclaim that the IDF was shooting at them,

but that doesn't seem to make any sense.

If the civilians didn't get out when warned, they are regretting it now. It's been very spicy tonight in Gaza. constant explosions and small arms and even flares very close to the camera. Most intense I've seen yet.

it really does seem if these thousand are trying to surrender with white flags and leave the buildings but then are fired at to run back

now why would the IDF do that when THEY are the ones having 4 hour ceasefires trying to get civilians out of North Gaza?

The IDF is literally fighting monsters and the world wants them to stop.

I just...I just don't understand.

about 30 seconds in you can see a VERY long column of armor moving what appears from the camera angle and the fact that the Med Sea is on the left hand side of the column-

moving NORTH

which would be awesome news. hopefully the southern prong near Wadi Aza moving up the coast to meet the other prong coming down south from Shati Camp

What truly frustrates me is that media organizations are aware of how skilled some terrorist operatives are at manipulating the media and evoking emotional responses. It seems that prioritizing the generation of website traffic and clicks takes precedence over deterring true evil.

some good news

Israel has revised the death toll of last month's Hamas attacks to roughly 1,200, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lior Haiat says.

The revised figure, down from a previous toll of 1,400, is "due to the fact that there were a lot of corpses that were not identified and now we think those belong to terrorists… not Israeli casualties," Haiat says.

"Around 1,200 is the official number of victims of the October 7 massacre," he adds.

The death count, which includes foreigners, "is not a final number. It is an updated estimate. It might change when bodies are done being identified," Haiat says.

What is the end goal of this war? How does Israel know when they have won?

Control Gaza? Then what? Allow the citizens back in? From this thread there is no distinction between citizens and Hamas, so how could they let that happen?

There is no way to eradicate Hamas without annexation of Gaza.

Anyone have another take on the goal?

Have you considered they are taking the first step, the obvious one, of killing Hamas? I'm sure that people that are a heck of a lot smarter than the both of us are working on part II.

The enemies of Israel in Gaza are in the "Find Out" step of FAFO. They will continue to FO that they miscalculated and that their bloodlust wasn't worth the absolute walloping the IDF is going to continue to lay down despite international pressure. Beyond that, who knows? I'm sure they know that it is a conundrum without an easy solution and that Hamas or something like them will always rise again and pose a threat. All that they can do is learn from what happened and deter future attacks. I can think that something of that scale hitting the particular places that it hit in the way in which it went about it can't be allowed to happen again, and now they know that they can't ever leave that many civilians so vulnerable ever again.

Eliminate the Hamas leadership

confiscate and destroy their large missiles and rockets

demolish their military headquarters

destroy their tunnel attack system

destroy their munitions factories

finish killing over 10,000 terrorists

that's a good start.
