It'd be a lot easier than state of the art facial recognition if they're dumb enough to attack with their gps enabled phones on and then go home with them on too.

Your phone is constantly uploading data on where you are and it's not hard to collect that data either. It's like the same thing as a tracking collar on a wild animal that's being studied except easier and real time since the phone is constantly connected

They don't have to go into the tunnels like a dude with a handgun in Vietnam. They can (and have been) destroy the tunnel networks from the air now or by using remote controlled bots.

A case of mistaken identity really would suck in that sort of situation dealing with a crowd. Though, I guess that still happens anyways from time to time with human intelligence.

The UN absolutely has a way to create problems, the US Veto in the UN is critical to make sure they don't interfere with what Israel is doing.

Doesn't do any good to show off photos of bombed out ambulances full of rocket motors. They have to put the patients in them so they can show you the bodies after the strike.
