Need more proof that the truce talk claim is real. I would be surprised they are already throwing that out there based on their language even today.

Regardless, hopefully Israel responds with even more destruction.

Regardless, hopefully Israel responds with even more destruction.

I'm not surprised, they will say that they want to kill hostages on one hand and that they want peace on the other. They will say whatever they can to try and create a slight advantage for themselves. From an Israeli perspective.. they should all be eliminated or deported outside of the broader border of Israel.

They were fair elections. Hamas was the 2nd most popular group behind the PLO. Once Yasser Arafat died, Hamas shot up in popularity and has held it quite convincingly.
