Evidently Houthi's seized a tanker that was supposedly owned by some Israeli's. USN was in in the neighborhood along with Japan ships and retook it before it could be brought to Yemen.

almost all of the hostages who still have family alive held hostage in Gaza-

have been separated

so that the liberated ones in Israel won't tell the truth about Hamas

I hope that is correct, though in my mind I can see why Hamas would negotiate to keep trickling out hostage releases in exchange for a commitment not to kill their senior leadership.

It's a horrible situation, but this highlights why Israel cannot let up. Hamas are liars and cold blooded killers and can never be allowed any form of control again.

Paraphrasing a line someone said it earlier in this thread, but the only thing worse than starting a war is not finishing it. If Israel ever wants even a semblance of peace, they have to finish off Hamas for good.

Videos and pictures of families being reunited are going to drive a longer pause with the hopes of getting all the hostages back home. The hope of reunification is too great.

But stories will start to leak out about how those hostages were treated. If it is as bad as we all expect; there will be hell to pay.
