I've always read that a flashlight is pretty much all you need. Shine the light into any surface/depression and you'll see the camera lens reflecting through.

Don't know how well it works, I've never had a reason to try to look for one.

Edit: I've also read that the camera on the iPhone, especially the front-facing one, will also find them. The UV light that scans your face will reflect the lenses and show on the screen. Never tried that, either.

Politics tries to tell you it's gotten worse. Technology makes it easier to do on a certain level (cameras) and much easier to read or hear about on another level but if you believe this kinda of behavior is now suddenly worse, that because you want it to be worse so you can point fingers.
