In the last year he's gone from worse to "okay, you need a retirement home," level of depreciation.

There's a reason the saying goes, "gradually then suddenly." He's in the suddenly now. Next step is him stepping down or dying in office. Either way, I don't see him making it to the next term. There's no way he does well at a debate, even against Trump.

Newsome didn't start putting himself out there for no reason. Anyone with an ounce of honesty knows that Biden needs to walk away while he still can, and that's why I think Newsome is in the public eye, so that he can already be seen as a viable alternative.

Soulless with no love to give.

Imagine the corruption and other deplorable acts those eyes have seen.

It's why he always has sunglasses on. Think back, how many times have you seen a president give a press conference in the rose garden or at a bar wearing sunglasses. Biden almost always does it.

The problem with this is you can only delay the inevitable for so long. They way a neurologist explained it to me was that you don't really change significantly the end date for when the patient is no longer able to function independently. You can make there their days before that moment better to a certain degree, but their falloff will be that much steeper when they approach that end date. This is why whenever he leaves office, he'll disappear from public view within 6 months (IMO).

Yes - I saw this with my mother.

They gave her this one drug (don't remember what) that really helped bring some of her personality back - but it didn't delay the inevitable - which came very quickly.

Jill is the real demon in all of this. She's beating a sick horse around the track until he falls over and dies.

We had the same experience with a family member. Memantine/Namenda was very helpful on the cognitive side for them. But our experience was the same. The end came very quickly in the big picture.

As others have noted, his dementia drug cocktail is increasingly potent as he has recently begun rapidly progressing toward inevitable cognitive failure. The result is obvious; his meds will "juice" him for shorter and shorter periods, and those periods will clearly manifest declining cognition and lucidity.

His continuance in office is a testament to the nation's decline.
