This is what Florida, and some other places have said "no" to...and every liberal I know of is rabidly against that. I am not talking about purple haired or Antifa types...I am talking about normal average joe democrats.

I don't know how they can ignore it. It has happened in every school in every district in Texas and likely around the nation. It an abomination that can't be ignored.

But seriously....it should never be in any schools....but I think the pervasiveness of it across the country has absolutely been blown out of proportion. But then I guess its better to nip it in the bud before it spreads.

MAGA lies alot but this one has a ring of truth out there. This is why its actually a good thing to have people on the fringes...It keeps things from shifting to far to the extreme one way or the other.

There are at least 5 on Texags. But tons out IRL and numerous relatively normal people i have grown up with on my IG feed who are against the these rules in grade schools. It's crazy.

I think the deceitful "Don't Say Gay" bill worked. People are THAT stupid, which makes liberal propaganda super easy and effective I guess.

People have lost their mind. Porn like that comic book posted in the other thread has no place around young children. I definitely don't think it's appropriate for juniors/seniors in high school, but its probably a lot tamer than stuff they would look at online anyway (that's a terrible measuring stick for what's acceptable in a school library, btw). You can have clean gay-themed stuff that's not raunchy.

Kids should be forced to get their porn the way I did when I was a kid. Waiting for "that" cable channel to have brief moments of clarity.

I remember having to get my parents' permission in HS to read "The Bluest Eye," "The Handmaid's Tale," and "The Last Temptation of Christ."

I do get the reason behind permission to read The Bluest Eye.
I was 15.

The other two I was a senior in an Independent study class where I made my own reading choices.
