Yeah, British Parliament only recently broke a 300-year requirement of wigs. I am good with adjusting the cultural norm with the times. That said, I think a hoodie is well outside what is considered decorum and dignity for the upper house. Simply put, it is slovenly, and any attempt to justify it by claiming a handicap accommodation is lame and offense to the truly handicapped.. Stephen Hawking dressed better than John Fetterman.

Went to a steak restaurant recently. It was more of an upper class steakhouse and they had a dress code at the door. I couldn’t show up in a hoodie and shorts and expect to get served.

Yeah, it would be nice if they were in order, but doesn't really matter at this point.

It's a very democrat action this. Don't hold up historical and traditional standards and instead replace those with new standards generally consider the lowest level possible.

Easy: Cultural replacement.

The left wants to replace old rules with new ones. So they create new rules such as cancel mobs for "misgendering" while tearing down the preceding era's standards (like dress codes and modesty).

They may pretend it's about empathy, but show up to a woman's march without a surgical mask and ***** hat & you'll find out quickly that they like to enforce dress codes… when they align with the left's interests. Traditional dress clothing seems conservative so 'tear it down, comrade!'

There has always been an exception to the rule - it was intended for people who just traveled in or had just left the gym - that you could have one foot on the "floor" and one in the cloakroom so they could vote.

It was never intended to be the rule - the fact that Fetterman doesn't have enough self respect, or respect for the office, as a grown ass man to not walk around in shorts and a hoodie tells me he has no place in Congress.

Chuckie is a clown for changing the rules to accommodate Fetterman.

And yes, I do care how people dress in that situation. Show some self-respect, respect for others, and respect for the job.
