I don't think it was even the GOP challenger, but someone else in the state GOP who knew about it

Kinda of the same opinion. Not a huge issue here, just distasteful and a mark against. Not sure its disqualifying with what the hell all the rest get up to. But if you're going to cheat on your spouse and not even keep to your "ethical nonmonogomy," whatever that is, then you'll definitely do it on something else. That's definitely disqualifying in my eyes.
