...yeah not buying the i was scared so i ran him over excuse
Did she run over him? I missed that part.
It appeared to me he stepped immediately in front of her car as it initially sat motionless. She started slowly rolling forward and he stepped to the side so she would not run over him or his toes. No engine rev or acceleration. Smart move on his part.
She continued to slowly drive forward, at walking speed, for 50'-100' until the car came to rest against the building. The officers appeared to walk alongside the vehicle the entire time.
Oh yeah, I left out that he shot her dead as he stepped to the side.
I think he did this and THEN stepped to the side. i think a lot of anti-cop people are seeing what they want to see.
It all happened at turtle speed. The bullet did not slow the car's movement. He easily stepped aside. The other officer was calm as a cucumber while telling her to get out of the car.
Certainly possible she had the car in gear, getting ready to leave, when they approached and she inadvertently took her foot off the brake in the confusion. My guess is the car just travelled under it's own steam after the gunshot.
Maybe the car has a black box that can tell us if she hit the throttle. I saw no sign that she had intent to injure the officer.
If this was my wife or daughter I would not be saying good shoot. It has nothing to do with being anti-cop; it has to do with objective observation and rational thought. There is no way I want any LEO to think this is a good shoot. Maybe you do, but I do not.
I am pro-cop but anti-idiot.
You may not be a moron, but some people think you are.
