Or he just thinks that the average white, black, or brown man have much more in common than our "betters" in Washington, and is tired of the narratives they push to keep us divided.

It's telling that the media always comes out and states that these songs criticizing our leadership and our media is actually being divisive towards people never mentioned in the song.

I've listened to several videos of him singing and talking. He comes across as genuine. The msm and the left is trying to coopt, distort and derail this moment. This struck a chord across all lines that the control freaks have set to divide us and it scares the **** out of them that the people may be waking up that it is not us against each other, but rather us against them.

Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald isn't even remotely Lightfoots biggest song. That would be Sundown. Carefree Highway and If You Could Read My Mind are also classics.

This may be the worst take I've seen on here. In no world are BOC or Gordon Lightfoot one hit wonders.
