Best movie I've seen in a long time. Not just the subject of the film but I thought it was really well produced. We were on the edge of our seat the entire film. The soundtrack was beautiful.

Anyway, I hope more movies are made like this, And I don't care if I never see another hollywood movie again. It's also interesting How silent the left is on this subject matter.

Long story short, the main actor has some off screen kookyness and that's just enough excuse for some to lame the whole thing as Q-Anon conspiracy theories.

No mention, no hints, no references, or innuendo to any of that in the film.

21st Century Fox produced it but then dropped it. Angel picked it up and marketed it as they were able in the best way they could. From there, with limited release it has done very well.

But others use that as just the excuse again to decry right wing propaganda. This giving them cover, in their minds, to ignore or ridicule the film.

All ignoring that that's no basis for the claims and human trafficking remains a massive global issue.

Agreed. Saw it a few weeks ago with the wife on date night. I cannot understand why normal sane person would be against this film. Oh wait. Normal and sane are not adjectives that describe the left. Never mind. I get it now.

My wife and I saw it last weekend. Great movie, outstanding acting, wide range of emotions from heartbreaking to heartwarming.
Highly recommend.

Keep in mind it was "Produced" in 2018, but the whole menagerie of 21st CF and Disney didn't want to release it for distribution...

It was Angel Studios that recently bought the rights to it, and released it for distribution.

The question to ask is...

WHY??

Anyone who thinks that film is "right wing propaganda" should spend some time with a CBP/ICE agent.

We were going to see Oppenheimer but then noticed in the parental reviews there are several scenes with t&a. I just got frustrated that Hollywood can't produce a movie about the Manhattan project without inserting something indecent and inappropriate.

I don't care if I never see another hollywood made movie. Hopefully, more movies are produced like this.

$163 million gross against a $14.5 million budget might be a decent reason.

Gross, production budget doesn't matter...that is for comparison after release for distribution...

Neither Disney, nor 21st Century Fox wanted their brand to be associated with such a topic or story.

Go figure...

Taking the family on Sat. Trafficking kids to democrats and democrat types really boils my blood. I will bet there is a moment where I scream out, "Squeeze the trigger!!!!".
