It's truly amazing to me. Years ago, I worked for a large American computer company. I was sent to help close a subsidiary in Canada and we were offered tickets to a Toronto Blue Jays game. None of us has any actual "power" within the corporation, yet we had a fair discussion about whether or not we could ethically accept the tickets.

The way the law reads, a benefit to a close family member counts as a benefit to a person. Hunter getting anything with Joe's leverage can be seen to benefit Joe. On the business world he would have had to keep completely separate from any business anything and avoided any appearance of using his position or influence, or FCPA violation.

I feel pretty strongly that Beau has been the lucky Biden in all of this.
