The "line" started getting crossed by dems in the 90's. With the Cold War over they wrongly decided America really didn't have any enemies to be taken seriously. The Clinton Administration threw the pay to play doors wide open.

That's really what this stems from. Prior to the 90's the dems had to take our security seriously. Outside of the most left wing districts you had to two that line. That ended when Moscow ran out of money.

I believe the way the story goes for them is that that phone call transcript shows that Trump was showing confidential documents to other people not authorized to see them.

That explains why Trump was NOT EVEN CHARGED with showing classified documents to other people not authorized to see them!
