Have y'all actually looked up the definition of "gender" in a dictionary? It's mind boggling. I can see why some kids believe what they believe as MW and Oxford dictionaries describe gender as a social construct and not associated with biological sex. Let them believe what they believe.

So how do we separate Sex and Gender and incorporate biological sex as the only differentiator in competitive sports; men, women, boys and girls.

XX can only compete in women's and XY can only compete and men's sports. Why is this so hard to accept ?

Home-schooling. I've watched enough interactions of parents with the school board to understand this stuff isn't changing in the school system without something really shaking society up.

Sex is not the same as gender, except when sex is the same as gender, as necessary.

If gender is a social construct, then what does it mean when the majority of society only believes in two genders?

I get it.

So how do we make sure athletic competition is between/against same sex and not gender?

majority of societies believe in different gods..

Athletics and jail are my two main things that should absolutely be based on sex.

The idea that anyone is ok with a system where children can be created with both parents in jail is mind boggling to me.

I'd add restrooms and lockerooms.

The progressives have moved on from the 'gender is a social construct' to include biological sex as a social construct.

We live in crazy times.

The dictionaries changed the definitions in the last few years, showing themselves fully culpable of political bias. Probably followed the biased "scientific" findings from "reputable" institutions.

My 1956 Websters dictionary has two definitions. The first is very long, and is basically concerned with grammar. Masculine, feminine and neutral nouns etc. The second definition is very simple: Sex
