Controversial take:

On average, men want to provide for themselves and their families.

And women want someone to provide for them (and in leftists cases, the government).

I'm not sure if people genuinely believe someone is going to say, "Wow, if some people say I'm a moron for not believing this, it clearly must be true."

It's not much a persuasive argument. It really just sounds like a bunch of miniature dachshunds barking because the first one one barked when it thought it heard something.

I was at 0% loan debt within 5 years after 8 years in school. I also lived like a hobo for those 8 years, only took out what I needed, and then continued living like a hobo for a number of years even when my income tripled to upper class level. It's honestly not difficult to live within your means, and prioritize spending to eliminate debt first before buying "stuff" no one really needs. Most of my excess spending actually involved dating, as women tend to not go for the cereal and sandwich lifestyle, go figure. But negative net worth to 3-4 million in 15 years. And definitely not with a liberal arts degree. Of course, within 3 years I had started a business and was kicking ass financially, took massive risks, and was smart about those chances, mostly on myself. Can't do that with a liberal arts degree, so yes, it's primarily about choices in degrees, but also no ambition, expecting everything to be handed to them, and plain being adverse to working hard to get further (because that's hard), which sometimes doesn't happen quickly. Yes, life is hard. But paying off debts shouldn't be an assumed obstacle. Just don't be an idiot. And don't be lazy, and don't be entitled.

I'm sorry, but exactly what part of this can you not do with a liberal arts degree as you allege? I think I've done most or all of what you state here WITH a liberal arts degree.

Is there a graph which shows who spends more of their discretionary income on other things than their debt?

Allocation of available funds plays a big role.

A more interesting study would be to see why some people spend their money to pay down their debt and why some spend it on other things.

Sad but this is considered a very controversial take. It's because of male privilege that women skew toward liberal arts.

Its why women are trying to make "STEAM" happen.

If it weren't so dishonest, I'd laugh at their ignorance: trying to shoehorn "Arts" into STEM implies that it fits as an equal. It doesn't. It's a mere subset of the other disciplines. Every significant advancement in STEM comes from the union of structural understanding AND creativity.

…but lying to kids that majoring in Arts is of equal value to the the ability to solve problems through conceptualizing natural order is dishonest and demonstrates multi-layered ignorance.

Trust me, they can always get a job in the tech industry.

We need them for the diversity optics and there will be no shortage of people lined up to try to date them.

I talked to this smoking hot little Chinese girl with a great personality at my company HQ and she explained to me the advantages for a female living in "Man Jose". No shortage of men willing to spend money on you.

Oh no, there's a difference but you have to be a biologist to figure it out.

And if you're a famous lesbian tennis player and try to point out the differences, you get cancelled.

One of the only women's sports worth watching is women's tennis. And watching them shout down Martina Navratilova is insane.
