Glad to see this! I was part of Young Americans for Liberty back in 2010-2013 while working on my bachelors degree at UC and we had a lawsuit against the school for there anti-free speech policies that required permits to do any kind of activism on campus, even something simple as walking around and talking to people.

Maybe the recent pushback has given the university leadership the backbone to stand up against the vocal fringe

It's weird to me that even that much effort would be applied by the university when it involves an "adjunct professor". I once (sort of) taught a college class. My buddy was the department head and asked me to teach a class. Technically I was an "adjunct professor", but I was only paid a tiny amount, had no status and was more like a contractor. No way would I imagine, had I caused such drama, the school doing anything but showing me the door.

Why would a man teach that course?

Nothing wrong with that course. But if it is part of a Women's Gender Studies major or minor, THAT'S a problem.

So, she is now the sole arbiter of free speech, based on her own personal biases that she clearly cannot see are in fact, biases.

No professor, you targeted her because you didn't like what she said because deep down, you know it is true.

What a load of bull****….but I guess that is an eloquent way to say "I teach what I want regardless of what is true".

It would be like a physics professor failing a student for using the term gravity.

UC rescinded the prof's formal reprimand but "she" still has to have her syllabus reviewed.
