They can't bring charges, they never have been able to bring charges. All they can do is show evidence and make referrals. The problem is that means it goes to the DOJ. So if you are looking for Wray to be arrested it's not happening. They could maybe try and impeach him but that's also no going anywhere because the Senate will never vote to convict because it would require a couple dozen Dems to defect.
What CAN happen and is the heat from all of the evidence being exposed forces Wray to resign or becomes a scandal that hurts Biden. Exposing truth is a good thing even if the end result is that it just pushes people to understand we need to elect a different President next year.
The dumbest argument though is "they should be doing something else". Ok, what? They can pass more legislation that is DOA. K. This is what happens with divided government. I would rather the GOP at least expose corruption even if they don't have the power to charge and remove people. That's how you win elections and get that power.
