Been using this device for a while. CPAP mask straps wouldn't be that noticeable by the time you are walking out and talking to the press. The indentation would wear off by then.

I wonder if he is constantly using an oxygen tank and just took off the mask right before stepping foot outdoors.

I really don't feel comfortable having a dude who needs to be wheeling around his oxygen tank to lead our country. Dude falls to the ground all the time.

When you're that old, your skin isn't that elastic and doesn't snap back that well. Of all the things to rail on Biden about, this shouldn't be one of them.

In all fairness, they probably just woke him up from a nap.

CPAPs are crap. I got suckered into using one about 15 years ago. Stopped using it after a couple of weeks. I'm still alive today and I sleep fine.

I think those are actually the marks from the protective case they keep the head unit in before they install it and power up the android.

Probably some of the worst medical advice I've heard on this board.

Mine helps me tremendously. I can sleep without it, but it's crap sleep.

I am very familiar with these devices and the marks on his face are completely consistent with CPAP mask straps. Not everything is some grand conspiracy.

I sleep with a CPAP. It is more so that my wife will sleep in the same room with me without punching me in the middle of the night for waking her up due to my snoring.

I don't doubt that he sleeps with a CPAP, but they don't have someone adjust it right or don't have straps that won't leave marks?

Also bad advice because this isn't always true.

I have a coworker who is convinced it saved the life of her entire family. The CO2 detector went off, but only the husband who was on a CPAP machine was alert enough to wake and hear it. He woke everybody up and got them out. And they were so out of it, they never would have woke up in their own.

I turned too much and sleep on my front a lot, so the dang thing woke me up, more than it helped. I got the tonsil and pallet surgery, which greatly improved my sleep without the mask, but that doesn't work for everyone. Also, not fat at all.

Also, during this long medical diagnosis and treatment, my now ex wife admitted to me that she'd been poking me awake for about a dozen years to make me stop snoring and giving me shiat sleep.

Absolutely. The question should then become focused on how often he's wearing it. The tweet notes that it was in the morning, so that makes sense. However, there are additional photos showing the strap indentations at varying times throughout the day.

Frequent napping?

Thinking about getting another sleep study done. I'm a slightly overweight but my problem is my large uvula causes snoring and probably not the best sleep. Anyone else have a problem with their large uvula? CPAP help?

I've worn a cpap for 13 years. Probably saved my life and now I have good sleep vs horrific sleep.

I cant speak to every type of strap and that strap may indeed be a cpap strap, but it's really low on his face.

Usually the strap would be more on his cheek bone. Additionally, the straps now have cushions you can put on to vastly reduce the indentations.

Didn't read thread.

I've worn one for years. His lines are normal. If you are dehydrated they are more noticeable.

Check my posting history - I hate Biden and all liberals.

Anything saying the CPAP lines are nefarious is stupid. Anyone saying it is something nefarious a grade A class A ****ing moron.

There are plenty of reasons to hate liberals and Biden. Don't be a dumb ****ing **** that claims CPAP lines are signs of something wrong. Just don't. Don't be that dumb a s s .

Maybe you should read the thread where OP states he uses one and everyone agrees how awesome CPAPs are.

One of the only inventions to come from Australia. The others are:
  • Boomerang
  • Rotary washing line (Hills Hoist)
  • The half car half truck sold in the USA as an El Camino or Ford Ranchero
  • WiFi

I am sure CPAP helps plenty, but when I went to see if I had apnea, they hooked a bunch of crap to me, forced me to sleep on my back, and woke me up by turning the lights on when I rolled over. After the worst night's sleep in years, they tried to schedule a fitting for the CPAP machine. Hard pass on that "diagnosis".

You know what helped me get good sleep? Getting a good mattress.

I was diagnosed when I was 29. Waking up gasping for air in the middle of the night was not very fun. Went to the sleep lab at Fort Hood, turns out I had a 34 AHI and diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea. Active duty infantry and not overweight .

The people with the "lose weight or get a better mattress" is laughable. Yes, we should strive to be at a healthy weight but a CPAP can turn your life around in many aspects.

It was obviously taken off right away.
It seemed very staged and the staged reporter asked about it.

This was right after he had some rally idiotic statements. I believe one was Putin was losing the war in Iraq.

I think it was just a planned diversion.

Those mask lines do not stay for long even on old people.

By the time he got up. Got dressed and ready it would be gone.

I know someone in their 60s that have cpap mask impressions on their face & head (bald) for at least 30m after waking up.

There's a million reasons that biden sucks, this is dumb and only detracts from the legitimate concerns.
