Can't central banks just print more money? Although I have heard that printing money is what got them in this mess.

I suspect that is fake news, but, to answer your question, no, the central banks of the Eurozone (countries which use the Euro as their currency) cannot just print money. The European Central Bank can sort of do that, but not the Bundesbank, or the central banks in the other Eurozone countries.

We are about to see global currency collapse followed by a merger of the Euro and USD under the common banner of CBDC.

I read a few days ago they were having trouble with liquidity? I may be misremembering. The below link is paywalled, but I don't have time to dig more to find the page I was reading before.

Fake news. But it does remind me of wondering why any nation would want to tie their economy to a country that borders the Mediterranean.

Does not appear to be fake news, may be alarmist language, but there may be something there

Banking, finance and insurance are all intertwined.

Like a three legged stool.

If we even sniffing the idea of central banks failing ... the end is nigh.

We are about to see a massive disruption. The only question now is what is gonna set it off.

Imo the problem will originate in Europe first. Not the USA. Remember a few years back when the PIGS financial problems dinged our market? Portugal, Italy, Greece, and Spain were all in financial trouble.
Iirc, the USA and the IMF bailed them out with long term loans and our economy recovered and forgot.

I'm sure Germany can and will be bailed out also if they need it.

All central banks answer to the world bank which is an arm of the federal reserve. The only central bank that could possibly rival the federal reserve is the BOE. All others are just regional pawns.

Didn't the Bank of England collapse a while back ? ? ? George Soros apparently made it happen for fun and profit.

650 billion euros? We scoff at that amount. How many trillion dollar packages have we passed in the last 3 years? What's another one at this point?

I opened this just expecting to read we are shipping them some pallets of cash/gold or some such idiocy.

I'm reminded of Elon's quote about 'thank goodness we haven't found extra terrestrial life yet, or DC would have found a way to send them money by now.'

Colonization has caused massive issues for centuries.

Makes me wonder if we learn from our mistakes when it's time to go colonize Mars, or if we repeat the same failures over.
