Horrible. But there is a very solid chance these kids would have grown up to be just as liberal as their parents, if not moreso...making them the enemy of my nation and my children. If psycho parents like these are going to eliminate themselves from the gene pool by any means necessary, I have other things to lose sleep over.aggie93 said:

Light bulb just went off in my head. What a great way to get money from liberal psychos, even if just a few thousand. Their hearts bleed for this kind of stuff...for people who can't chemically castrate their children or have their breasts removed.Rattler12 said:

What about a Jewish home where the children will be pushed to be studious with a diet that will make them slightly thinner than Orson Wells?TheEternalPessimist said:

Its clear within the first couple sentences that it's polished propaganda - not an actual mother writing from an emotional / personal position.Rattler12 said:

Lets just stick with what made West Civ great, the bible.TxTarpon said:What about a Jewish home where the children will be pushed to be studious with a diet that will make them slightly thinner than Orson Wells?TheEternalPessimist said:

What about a Hindu home where the children will be pushed to be studious with a vegetarian diet?
How about if we just stick with the Constitution that made America great and let people decide what religion to follow for themselves?samurai_science said:Lets just stick with what made West Civ great, the bible.TxTarpon said:What about a Jewish home where the children will be pushed to be studious with a diet that will make them slightly thinner than Orson Wells?TheEternalPessimist said:

Yep, only so much you can do to people that insist on being completely self destructive. I will pray for the kids but I don't know a realistic way to save them.BG Knocc Out said:Horrible. Bible and Torah (or Tanakh) are from the same place in the world, are they not?Quote:

Kids have a big tendency to rebel against going any direction they are pushed to go as they grow older. If parents lay off the pressure, set a good example, and let kids choose for themselves, they generally end up following the general pattern of their parents. But if the parents are overbearing, try to decide things for them, and forbid them from doing things, the kids will seek to go against them as a form of rebellion against that control. Why do you think there is such an accurate stereotype about preacher's daughters?BG Knocc Out said:Horrible. Also, I have never understood why people believe that moving to someplace that is more in line with their preferences is such a hardship. That is one of the great things about this country. You are free to go wherever you would like; it is the literal "pursuit of happiness"/American dream. There are no restrictions on your movement and you are free to go wherever you like best.
Don't like the city? Move to the country. Don't like the country? Move to the city. Like the mountains, the beach, desert, hot, cold, dry, rainy, hunting, fishing, high taxes, low taxes, gun control or whatever else? You can find those places and live there.
We're only about 150 years removed from people settling this country by loading as much of their stuff as they could carry into horse drawn covered wagons and taking off in pursuit of those dreams and happiness, yet we have somehow gone from that to begging for money and whining that everything isn't exactly like we like it where we are, and being paralyzed by the act of choosing orange juice.

Just like a leftist. Create your own problems, blame others, play the victim, and ask others to pay for your horrible decisions.
These poor kids never had a chance. Their mentally warped parents had them doomed from the start. I pray they somehow escape the living hell they've trapped them in.
And the Chronicle is trash.
This has not been my life experience or observation at all. Almost every son or daughter of a preacher/elder I know is a great morally upright person. The loosest are generally daughters of liberals or super hands off parents or those without father altogether.txags92 said:Kids have a big tendency to rebel against going any direction they are pushed to go as they grow older. Meh, to every rule there is an exception. I know some preacher's kids that were real straight arrows, but I know more that were not. Keep in mind, that is how they were as teenagers, not necessarily how they are as adults. Also depends on the preacher too. The stricter the preacher, the more likely the kids were to rebel against it in my experience.BG Knocc Out said:This has not been my life experience or observation at all. I kind of agree with you to some extent on your overall point, but most libs I know personally had lib parents.

Have always assumed these types of companies will only buy your house 20% lower than tax value or more. Where did this company come in?
Yes, if they were quiet about it however, since they want to make a "statement" about their plight, there is going to be responses.Grapesoda2525 said:
I know the folks of this board would like to thrash and own these libs, but wouldn't it be better to just let them quietly leave for greener pastures?
