Holding elections is a threat to Ukraines democracy I guess
I'm not sure if people genuinely believe someone is going to say, "Wow, if some people say I'm a moron for not believing this, it clearly must be true."

It's not much a persuasive argument. It really just sounds like a bunch of miniature dachshunds barking because the first one one barked when it thought it heard something.

No, he didn't directly stop the election. Ukrainian law doesn't allow for them to be held during martial law.

Sounds like a bad joke. The irony of law that a) allows martial law and b) allows the declaring of it, while still using the word law, is mind-boggling.

Did I miss that day in law school? It wasn't on any of my course exams or the bar.

Ukraine should form a cadre of Martian knights, charged with enforcing Martian Law.

My bad. Tired from total **** travel today.

That was the 2014 election?
2014 was the Maidan Revolution. Not an election.

Maidan got rid of Russian stooge Yanukovych, who fled to Russia. There was an interim government then an election, also in 2014 which elected Poroshenko

As is the mere existence of any opposition political party, or any independent media, or books the state doesn't approve of, or certain religious institutions (Russian orthodox), or an open border across which Ukrainians can choose to travel, or an ability to post on the internet from mobile devices certain content.

Other than that, this war is all about freedom from oppression. Well, mostly. Trust the narrative.
