It will be whoever the DNC decides they want. The Democrat voters have no say in the matter.

Given that, it would be Newsom. The only person the DNC could not say no to would be Michelle Obama.

The female vote is going to sway heavily away from any Republican candidate because of how the DNC candidate will be pro choice. Newsome would deliver this corrupted messaging the best. Black voters will vote democrat no matter what as it's been proven over and over.
