Comedy Central already removed season 1, episode 2 "Diversity Day" years ago. It's one of the funniest epiosdes of the series in a long list of them. Imagine a comedy channel erasing something because some loser might find it offensive.

Some friends of mine went to see it in downtown Bryan when it came out. One of them told me about it the next day. He said that they were sitting in their seats and a Black family came in and sat right n front of them. When the movie got started and the the dialog hit them, their first thought was that it was going to turn into a race riot, but to their amazement, the family in front of them was laughing harder than anyone else around them. After that, they just enjoyed the movie.

That was my point. Few cared. There were still Black Militants back then who were stupid but the population saw the humor and thought it was funny. Because it was funny. It poked all kinds of fun at people being being presjudiced and then no longer caring anymore. Except the Irish, of course.

Toward the end of the movie in the scene where they are running out of the front gates of the studio, there is a guy standing there next to a traffic signal and looking around like he had no idea what was going on. As I understand it, he was a tourist who somehow wandered into the scene without realizing it. They supposedly rushed in to get him to sign a release so that they could use that in the movie.

Somebody go get us a bucket full of dimes.
