In 2000, 1 out of 150 children diagnosed on the Autism spectrum. Today it's 1 out of 36 children.

Nobody's know exactly why rates are increasing. Consensus is it's always been there and we're better at testing. Like Trump said, we have more Covid because we have more testing so let's stop testing. It could be environmental factors. It could be diet. I could be weight. It could be stress.

But it is not vaccines. That seems to be the only thing medical community has confirmed about Autism. Interesting.

know how you get a bunch of diagnoses? incentivize it. Remember when handicap placards were a rarity?

It could be pollution.
100 years ago we had fewer chemicals in our lives, diet and air.
Sure, there was alcohol, tobacco, cocaine, opiates, coal smoke, but when you read the back of processed food items we daily consume now, plus plastics we inject, there is something happening when babies are formed.

I don't think rates have changed much, but reporting has.

Maybe the rates have/haven't, but after covid I don't believe data analysis unless I have access to the data det, and can reproduce their numbers.

This is very, very different from the lgbtq crowd though which makes up lies about who they are, and likes to tell children about what they do in the bedroom.

We raised our kid on iPhones, iPads and nonstop Disney and movies. We kept our little Connor safe and made sure he never had to leave his comfort zone. Discipline was a firm "time out" followed by a hug and ice cream.

Incentivized diagnosis and lack of social conditioning. The spectrum is very wide and there are people on the spectrum that are just socially awkward because they were not properly socialized with peers since they spend all their time on their phone chasing the next dopamine hit following trolls redditers who teach them it is fine to call people names from behind a keyboard without and actual real social interaction

Social media is an oxymoron, it is anti social at its core by training people how not to interact socially.

How many boomers do you know that beat their own heads and cannot function in society without tons of help. This **** ruins families decades.

There is certainly an epidemic and the entire govt/health industry has failed us in seeking a reason.

One hundred different people will have 100 different opinions.

Here is mine.....Genetic predisposition, combined with chemical pollutant and add in vaccines. Combine all of that with some over diagnosis and you will get the increased incidence of autism.

I think we have always had autism, and have always looked for something to blame for it.

Today, we blame vaccines. 400 years ago, we called the kids changelings and blamed fairies for stealing them.

This is definitely part of it.

Kids who 20+ years ago would just be seen as shy or awkward are now diagnosed with autism.

Kids who might not be the quickest students are diagnosed with autism.

Kids with a speech problem are diagnosed with autism.

And no, this does not apply to all kids, but it happens. Just like the craze in the 80s and early 90s of diagnosing the same kids with ADD and then in in the 90s going with ADHD because the kid also had lots of energy. Sure some of those kids really had a problem which needed medical care, but most did not need drugs shoved down their throats. Kid is hyperactive, toss his or her butt outside and tell them to go play. They will burn off that excess energy.

I don't know but we're still just finding out the effects of all the chemicals we willingly ingest, cook with, inhale, etc. But also think there's something to the better testing idea.

metals in vaccines can do a number on a young child's brain. look up the amount of vaccines a kid receives in 1 dr appt and compare that to the date range you described. it is an atronomical increase.

It was almost unheard of 50-60 years ago. From what I heard, there was a HUGE spike in the late 80's that correlates with the massive ethylmercury laced vaccine rollout for babies and children. But remember, correlation does not equal causation.

It's always been there and we are better at testing makes zero f-ing sense...right along with just about everything the experts told us during the pandemic.

I used to think people who thought vaccines could possibly cause autism in some children were crazy...I no longer do.

You know what I DO think is crazy? To give a f-ing 1 DAY OLD NEWBORN Hepatitis B shots. Makes zero f-ing sense. At best, it's a sick and disgusting money grab.

The only evidence I have is anecdotal. Family friends' daughter, like all their other kids, was extremely outgoing, talented and intelligent. She received her vaccines around 9. She had a seizure reaction and was never the same: voice changed, socialization changed - basically a completely different person over night. I saw it and that's that.

This it is part this and part moms that just want the attention. My ex's sister in law is pretty much trying to raise their kids as special needs and they are so developly behind. Talks to everyone about how they are working with specialist and they are trying so hard but yet they really don't parent the kids.

70% of US adults are using some kind of prescription meds, that may also be part of it that being on pills is now the new norm. Not saying it is causing anything but when I grew up you tried or hid that you were on medicine. Now people offer the information without asking. Kind of odd

By nature, many of these vaccines have to have something toxic to trigger a bodily immune response...be it aluminum or mercury or whatever. RFK Jr. sounds less and less crazy by the day.

Its hard to compare apples to apples when you are talking about something measured on a "spectrum". Definitions change, "spectrums" get broader, and people get better at labeling/identifying these things the more such information becomes accessible.

Lets ignore the dozens of studies that show it crossing the blood brain barrier......

We don't have a study showing it directly causes it, but plenty of studies showing how it leaks from the blood stream INTO THE BRAIN. I am sure it's fine..

If she had a seizure, that could have caused brain damage.

I'm not referring to rare, adverse reactions to a vaccine, which do happen. Just look at the warnings on the flu shot form one has to read and fill out. The risk of low, but never zero; same for any medication. I do not believe vaccines cause autism by themselves. I do think they should be more spread out when given to kids. Perhaps too many at once can cause an adverse immune reaction in some people.

Now the WuFlu shots, that's a completely different topic. I'm only referring to the vaccines we've been using for 30, 40, 50+ years now.

Now, if someone wants their kids to die of some preventable disease, knock yourself out. Not my kids or my decision.

No we didn't. The spike occurred suddenly with a new generation. And almost perfectly correlated with vaccines.

recreational drug use is on the list somewhere.

maybe the 4th or 5th cause of the increase

it's something that has increased considerably among society in the past 40 to 50 years

It's the rate of autism that spiked in the nineties. Along with a whole host of other disorders.

I think the hardcore blind believing pro-vaxxers who don't think they could possibly cause ANY harm to ANYONE think some of us skeptics are arguing that these vaccines cause certain, impending harm to everyone who takes them. Not saying that at all, just that there is a TON of evidence/smoke that they are causing harm to a small % of children.

It could be pure coincidence that these cases skyrocketed in the late 80's/early 90's with the rollout of the extensive and largely unnecessary vaccine schedule for babies/toddlers. But I think only a fool would say there absolutely ibn no way can be any real causation with 100% certainty. And the last three years should have been a HUGE screaming wake up call that these politicians and big pharma are not to be blindly trusted.
