I remember some 18 year old kid in Massachusetts who was posting classified materials on Reddit and he was taken care of swiftly. There's your double standard.
With 8 or so counts of espionage under the same provision used to charge Trump, apparently.
There is a claim of an email to officials at Bursima written by Hunter which contained segments of a classified briefing to Biden on Ukraine. At least the kid was only using his info for street cred and not millions of dollars.

He's getting a slap on the wrist for minor crimes, and they are ignoring the major crimes that would send him to prison. This whole thing is bull*****
There may be more charges coming.
HA! We all know there are no more charges coming under this DOJ.

Notice that this rolls out the same day the Big Guy is on the West coast and Garland is overseas. No one to comment on this deal.

And there's a reason DOJ says "investigation is ongoing". Two options. One is that they continue to look deeper into the overall Biden money laundering/bribery scheme; or, the statement creates a convenient roadblock to any inquiries that Congress has into the "investigation". There will continue to be no answers beyond "we won't comment on an ongoing investigation".

Now you tell me which option is more likely.

The average citizen is too busy living their lives to do more than beech and moan on social media. Most are so used to their lives, be they well off or dirt poor, to think of taking any kind of real action. Just the way every politician in office right now likes it to be.

There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the later ignorance. Hippocrates

There is a 0.0000000% chance that Hunter's brain came up with a single line item on this list. He may have added his own stupid dialogue (see line #10), but each item is straight off a classified briefing his Dad received as "Point person for Ukraine".

Spelling errors and all? Their/there? Don't see the 120 IQ required to write this. The whole premise is just silly. A Biden hater thinks this looks to be written by someone smarter than Hunter? As Jessup would say, please tell me you have more.

It was sent roughly a week before his Dad had a planned trip to Ukraine. If you're capable of reading between the lines..... Here is my imagination coming up with how this probably happened.

1) Joe gets a classified briefing on Ukraine geopolitics ahead of upcoming trip
2) Joe takes briefing home and leaves document next to his Corvette (totally safe in a locked garage of course!)
3) Joe calls Hunter and says he needs his Corvette filled up for the weekend.
4) Hunter says, "Dad, you already get 10%, I'm not paying for your gas too."
5) Joe tells Hunter, "You shut your mouth you little twit. I left a document there for you to pick up. It'll help you establish some credibility on the Burisma board I put you on."
6) Hunter calls his dad and says, "Alright, the car is filled and I got the document, but there are lots of words I don't understand!"
7) Joe says, "Son, none of it makes any sense to me either, that's why I'm VP rather than the President. Just paraphrase, the general points of the briefing will tell them all they need to know."
8) Hunter says, "Thanks Dad, I'm working on some Romania & Chinese connections too. Let me know when those breifings are coming up. I want to ride on AF2 with you when you go to China."
9) Joe ends with, "You got it son. Just don't forget the 10% baseline arrangement.."

This is a very shrewd move. He pleads guilty and gets "punished." Everything is wrapped up in a bow. Dear old dad gets to garner sympathy from the rabble for his cokehead kid who is "accepting" responsibility for his actions.

Meanwhile, we have to deal with the orange ego incriminating himself on national tv and taking oxygen away from a true conservative who can destroy biden and dems.

The worst thing about the Trumpification of the GOP is that we've taken on his worst traits. We don't plan. We act impulsively and then lose interest. Meanwhile the dems are getting away with murder and playing dumbass media like a fiddle.

Pre-Trump, this would not have happened.
True. We would be in term 2 of Hillary. Say what you want about Trump and all the baggage that comes with him. He did one thing for a large number of Americans.

He woke them up and made them realize the "slow boil" that our government was subjecting all Americans to. Both sides. What Trump did was make that group increase the burn and make sure someone like Trump never gets into office again.

My guess is DeSantis would never make it in. Look for the next GOP to make it into the WH to be a RINO.

There is no reason to expect further charges against Hunter. And even if there are, Biden will pardon him or Kamala will

Hawg, you and the other legals will enjoy the first twenty minutes. Bongino isn't necessarily a deep dive on law, but he is very good on behavior of federal agents and government in general. Some of the names you hear in this will be quite enlightening, not to mention "government names that keep appearing in every single political row (a little British fight vernacular).

It's good to have a dissenting voice in any conversation where every single fact and motive isn't known. I tend to agree that each of these comparable opinions aren't always the same.

In this case, the decision from the DOJ has very little to do with the law. It does have something to do with the Biden name, but what it REALLY is about, IMO, is setting up the DOJ to weather the coming indictments and prosecutions on Trump, and candidly anyone else the Dems and their Politburo think should be monitored, hassled, forced to spend $1M, or more, on legal fees, to make sure 50% of the American population is scared ****less.

This has been coming for a very long time. It doesn't require the worlds best detective to figure it out. Candidly, in the last eight years alone, there are thousands of pages of facts, behavior, names, and likely guilt, of those involved in this and nearly every other action by the government.

I suggest you take the time to educate yourself, because there's NOTHING involved in todays news that many here didn't see coming, and it's not over with yet.

Oh, speaking of "sweetheart deals".

https://freebeacon.com/biden-administration/federal-prosecutor-on-hunter-biden-served-as-right-hand-man-to-longtime-biden-family-crony/

This, of course, proves nothing, but there are THOUSANDS of circumstantial evidence which ALWAYS seems to go the Dems way. HMMMMM! Wonder why that is?

Your very weak attempt at goal tending is…pathetic. Frankly, if you (and anyone who has voted for any Democrat at any level in the past 20 years) had any shame at all you should be embarrassed.

I won't explain in detail here, but if you use YouTube, you've probably heard of FPSRussia (here's a helpful explainer video), who was sent to prison for possessing weed while owning firearms. The federal government blitzed one of the most popular online figures in the world despite not showing that he illegally owned any of the firearms he had. Meanwhile, Hunter Biden is on video brandishing an illegal firearm while distributing drugs, and he doesn't even get charged. You can do the math on that.

Keep trying. This from the guy who before he was senile wanted to make sure his kids weren't raised in a 'racial jungle.' Then bragged about his crime bill to incarcerate black males.

But hey, Hunter's "not only white, but the president's son."

Coincidentally, Hunter also reached a settlement with Arkansas baby momma to only have to pay $5,000/month in child support.

Certainly this seems completely unrelated to his plea deal. Nothing to see here folks, must continue to hunt Trump down.

Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, rarely asks a question to which he doesn't know the answer. When the question concerns the politicization and weaponization of the FBI, you can bet some damning information rests behind his query.
Quote:

The Iowa senator posed his question last Thursday during the executive business meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee. After several exchanges between Republican members of the Judiciary Committee and Democrat Chair Dick Durbin over the question of what, if anything, the FBI had done to investigate the bribery alleged in the CHS's FD-1023 report, Grassley interjected this query:

"In regard to U.S. Attorney Weiss, do we know if his job follows up on bribery, or is it just this tax stuff that we've been reading about? If it doesn't include bribery, then he can't do anything about investigating."

And with those two sentences, Grassley revealed the initial answer Americans need to assess whether the DOJ and FBI sabotaged a criminal probe into the Biden family.
LINK

Please note that it would have been Barr back in 2020 when the FD-1023 came in who would have made such a decision initially. Because it would make no sense for Weiss to originally have that scope and then for Garland to thereafter take it away, UNLESS he took it away and sent it to Robert Hur to bury it.
