Kodak Black had a lengthy record and was a convicted felon before the gun incident, which was why he went to prison.
It's good to have a dissenting voice in any conversation where every single fact and motive isn't known. I tend to agree that each of these comparable opinions aren't always the same.
In this case, the decision from the DOJ has very little to do with the law. It does have something to do with the Biden name, but what it REALLY is about, IMO, is setting up the DOJ to weather the coming indictments and prosecutions on Trump, and candidly anyone else the Dems and their Politburo think should be monitored, hassled, forced to spend $1M, or more, on legal fees, to make sure 50% of the American population is scared ****less.
This has been coming for a very long time. It doesn't require the worlds best detective to figure it out. Candidly, in the last eight years alone, there are thousands of pages of facts, behavior, names, and likely guilt, of those involved in this and nearly every other action by the government.
I suggest you take the time to educate yourself, because there's NOTHING involved in todays news that many here didn't see coming, and it's not over with yet.
Oh, speaking of "sweetheart deals".
