He's out of his mind but not in a Biden way, just way over confident and really believes in 24 hours after being elected the Chinese and Russian problems will be solved.

No surprise as it's part of his professional grift. He was something new the first time but there's no second act as the voting public are savvy to his ways.

Whole thing available yet? Only seeing clips on twitter.
Politically, I get why he is doing the interview.
From a defense strategy? d-u-m-b.
With the gag order in place? Pulling my hair out. I have had very hard to control clients who did stupid things against my advice. Never to this level though.aggie93 said:
I'm interested on the take of hawg and other lawyers on what they would do if their client who is under multiple indictments decided to give an interview like this where he just spoke his mind and contradicted some of his other statements. Is Trump trying to have more lawyers quit I assume?
And why NARA never noticed they were "missing."TAMU1990 said:
I'd like to know what the topics of the Biden documents were. We'll never know the truth because everything is classified and we can't see a damn thing.
How can he? Really when lawfare on BS charges against POTUS candidates can get everyone out of a primary or general election? That does not end with just Trump. It will be employed against an Republican forever more.SA68AG said:
I thought he really looked bad - old and tired. He sounded a lot better than he looked though.
This is the first time I've listened to him where I really felt he came across as a con-man. His discussion of the records he kept and his subsequent actions and indictment just didn't come across as credible to me.
His comments on people who used to work for him that he's subsequently thrown under the bus came off as very disingenuous.
His time has come and gone. He needs to get out of the race and endorse somebody - preferably DeSantis .Unfortunately for the country I see him going scorched earth on DeSantis .
It always just going to be about himself.
My hope is this ends up with Trump realizing that while he is being persecuted he also did a few dumb things that have guilty of at least some of what he is being charged with and he realizes that his best case is to decide he has to drop out to fight it and supports DeSantis with the promise of a pardon. Everyone wins there because it forces Trump to give DeSantis a legit endorsement and his supporters to go along else Trump will die in jail under Biden/Newsom. They will of course go after DeSantis but DeSantis is a much, much tougher nut to crack on multiple levels starting with the fact he is a Harvard attorney himself and he is very careful about what he says and does and especially who he trusts. That also allows Trump to be the martyr and to gain the appreciation of even a lot of folks that don't like him for doing so.aggiehawg said:How can he? I linked before but these prosecutors are never punished and land 7 figure deals with law firm for service to "the cause."

Baier now asking him why had secret documents

Trump: I took stuff in a hurry
(really)
Baier serves up an easy one about winning back a female voter and Trump goes to "I won in 2020," and to his credit, Baier says: No, you didn't

He cannot. And by not dropping out he is protecting DeSantis, and any GOP nominee going forward.Quote:

I understand what you are saying but if he stays in he loses. He either loses in the primary and then his endorsement of DeSantis comes from a position of weakness but still is ok. Or he wins the primary and loses in the General and goes to jail for the rest of his life with no one that can save him.aggiehawg said:He cannot.
