Seeing as how he only hires the best people, and they keep on quiting on him; couldn't it just also be that he has no one left because of how he treats the ones he hires?

Also, he is known to not pay them if possible, so couldn't that also take into account his inability to get better lawyers?

Are you saying Dersh is lying about being intimidated by these people and they are intimidating others?

No. I'm saying, as many on here have said many times, Trump has issues with his previous attorneys, and because of that, I'm saying that while it is possible that what Dersh said is true, couldn't it also be possible that Trump's history with attorneys could also be why?

Michael Cohen went Cooley Law School in Michigan. Every lawyer I know that went there is an idiot. It's basically an open door.

I don't know what happened to Alan D., but he's been a nut lately.

The fact that you care more about Trump's "crimes" instead of a 5 Million dollar bribe that Joe Biden took from Ukraine is a test of your character.

Nobody is defending Joe if he did it, as had been said, produce the tape, let's the get the impeachment started.

Don't need the tape.

Bank records and SARs will do for impeachment.

That letter signed by Gaetz to Garland was specific about Project 65 ties to Jack Smith's office.

This is more than puffs of smoke.

General Garland:

I write to you today with a simple ask. Please produce to my office, in writing, by July 7, 2023:
All staff rosters, phone lists, or similar records, within the custody or control of the Department of Justice, depicting all employees hired by or detailed to the office of Special Counsel Jack Smith;
  • All communications of the Office of Special Counsel, whether electronic or otherwise, relating to overcoming or piercing any legal claim of privilege, whether executive privilege, attorney-client privilege (including crime-fraud exception), work product, or any other privilege, including but not limited to policy documents;
  • All communications between the Office of Special Counsel and: (1) any state bar association; or (2) the 65 Project.

Comey mentioned today they are just crossing $10MM of SARs and he is confident the number will reach $20MM-$30MM.

Much scuttle about how much agencies have been pressured to not cooperate with Congress, to not cooperate with one another, and to stand down on all things Biden.

The richness of this.

Alan Dersh is not a nut, he's been knocked in the head by longtime friends and colleagues for having the gall to give his opinion on the US Constitution - which is odd since he is generally considered one of the most knowledgeable of it.

But you go with him being "a nut lately" if it makes you feel better about voting for Biden and the end of our Country.

Just to be very clear.

We have Leftist users on here openly either defending or trying to mitigate a conspiracy to deprive an American citizen of their 6th Amendment rights.

He needs to identify the individuals involved in the 65 project and make their names public and go after them hard. Trump has the right to representation the same as anyone else.

The swamp just loves to crap all over due process. If these folks are attorneys they ought to be disbarred at a minimum.

Big hypothetical.

Large clients such as Wall Street Banks, Blackrock, Vanguard and Soros spread their money out to confict out the best law firms from ever going against them. That used to be a hedge for conflicts of interests to remove lawyers from the chess boards against them. Obnoxious but allowed.

That is not what is happening now. Those multi billion dollar clients are now saying they will pull their business from the firms.

And that conspiracy is why I mentioned RICO.

Just like Flynn was, right? Your appeal to authority falls flat when your authority is politically weaponized. I award your obfuscation attempt zero points. Go sit in a corner and rethink your life.

My appeal to authority?

This is about holding authority and the government accountable.

Trump is the swamp.
Dershowitz isn't and the group went after him.

So stop the thread derail...

Oh look another personal attack from (omitted so I don't catch another ban)

Why don't you go represent him if he is innocent and it's for the good of our country? Maybe you can pay off porn stars, pay for the finance chair of the RNC's abortion and do some prison time for him too. 153rd ranked law school should suit Trump fine.

Dude you voted for Biden and the destruction of this country because Trump hurt your feelings. Little margin for you to be calling someone a nut.

As a self proclaimed lawyer, how do you feel about other lawyers banding together mafia style to attempt to deny someone the right to counsel via harassment, intimidation, and threats of disbarment?

Rob, darlin' I don't often openly disagree with you because you have your takes and opinions and I respect that always.

And I have never really liked Dershowitz much either because for most of my legal life he was a "raging liberal." Burn the flag kind of guy.

But over the years, he has been very consistent about the Constitution. And now the Dem Party has moved way far to the left of him.

And he's not having any of it. That is principle and integrity. Even though I may not have always agreed with him (I was a licensed practicing attorney can't always agree) can't argue that he has done it right. Kept true to his principles. And when his principles applied to Trump? People lost their minds.

Why?

No I can disagree with Dersh on occasion but I'll never say he has no principles nor backbone. He's honest.

It is a troll post, but he believes it 100%.

This is the guy who developed the 2 Teas Theory of Economics.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Cam across this whilst looking for the recent interview with Dershowitz that I think was done on one of the FNC morning shows, where he talked about his ostracizing following the Trump impeachment.

It looks like a long complicated read so I cannot opine on the whole thing, but quickly glance shows it covers the long, complicated history of Dersh.
