At my wedding in 2013, our priest went on an anti-same sex marriage rant during the ceremony and Mass. He was a devout Korean-American Catholic Priest. "Marriage is between and man and a woman"

He saw the writing on the wall a long time ago.

I simply do not understand how the Catholic church can ignore sin as if it is not.

Unfortunately that diocese has a very weak/bad bishop. He's the same one who said he's not in favor of disciplining Biden for his pro-abortion actions.

I figured it was a church of satan before I saw the thread.

Obviously if that parish/diocese has been ok with the degenerate, pro-death pedo receiving the Eucharist, they're clearly not concerned at all with Church teaching regarding the law of chastity.

This "archbishop" also allowed Nancy Pelosi to speak at the funeral of Cokie Roberts several years ago.

can't believe we actually live in a time where churches not only ignore the very explicit and straightforward discussion of homosexuality in the Bible, but actively recruit homosexuals into high ranking church positions. Being gay is no different than being a drug addict or alcoholic or philanderer -- funny how we don't openly invite those people into positions of pastorship, etc.

churches have to stop bending the knee. they won't though -- this is all spelled out for us, so what's the point? we're doomed, just a matter of time.

Catholics and most other religions are concerned with keeping the coffers full. When donations start to decline they will change their stances. Gigantic cathedrals built with the pennies of the poor. Shameful.

Sin is sin. But frequently many homosexuals openly celebrate their lifestyle and sexual choices. It's not a sin that they are struggling to overcome but a lifestyle choice they are celebrating.

Is the drug addict/alcoholic trying to get clean and sober? Or are they parting every night and making no effort to get clean?

Is the philanderer putting aside their mistress (wtf is the name for a "male mistress"?) and returning to a faithful marriage? Or are they continuing in willful sin?

I got caught up in a deep dive on those verses, and the entire chapter lol. Need to get back to this appraisal, but my wife and I enjoyed revisiting some of that, as we both struggled allot years and years ago, but have seen with absolute certainty God's mercy & forgiveness in our lives, especially with the introduction of our 4 month old.
