No necessarily. Sydney McLaughlin is extremely talented and beautiful. Her 400mH WR will stand for decades. But she's not as popular as she is just because she's fast. Not even close.Nanomachines son said:AggieUSMC said:
Alicia Schmidt is one of the most popular female track and field athletes in the world. And it's not because of her performance on the track.
It's amazing how they still keep trying to push female athletes as if they are talented. No man cares about women's sports, they just enjoy watching fit and attractive women move around.
Women's sports would have far more viewership if their uniforms were like beach volleyball or track and field for all sports. Any sport where women have to wear pants to protect their legs should switch to scrunch butt leggings. All uniforms should be completely form fitting.
Do that and more men will care. Otherwise women's sports will forever be a joke.

Reading between the lines of the article: "white women who are beautiful making money over black women who aren't is bad"
The reality of women's sports is this: no one cares about female sports at all, they just care about their sex appeal. Since white women are always considered the most beautiful in the world, this was the inevitable result. Since NIL is almost entirely about social media followers for women, these white women have the biggest accounts by a huge margin.
Unlike with the pros where companies can force ugly women on to everyone like Britney Griner, collegiate NIL is purely about influence and virtually 100% of the big social media accounts (athletic or not) are white women or Hispanic/middle eastern women who look white.
Anyone who knew anything about women's sports knew this would happen and knew that it would eventually devolve into racism like this article implied "pretty blonde girls".
It would not surprise me if women in all sports began minimizing their clothing while they played to get more social media attention for more NIL money.
Yep! Most of the time, looking and playing the part is more important than knowing what the heck youre talking about.infinity ag said:
I see this all the time. I knew a few pretty white women in my job 13 years ago. They weren't competent but nice and pleasant looking. Now they are all VPs. Don't ask me of what but pretty white women do have things handed to them.
Conversely the ugly white women are all stuck doing what they did years ago. Such is life.

In the list of the top ten NIL valuations, 5 are black and 5 are white. In fact, 5 of the top 7 are black. All of these players are either really good, or were highly recruited coming out of HS. The only one with white girl sex appeal is Livvy Dunne, everyone else seems pretty normal looking.

If female boxers are dressing like this for weigh-ins now, it's definitely not just a college/NIL trend
Actually very un true. Chicks that look like the above I 100% feel safe they're women...effeminate men want to pretend theyre women, not men who are body builders. Even the "trans" weight lifters look nothing like those chicks.TRADUCTOR said:
You hate women... No you don't, you just hate the world where they have dongs now. lol, safety 1st, if she looks like a grenade that will pull out her pin then avoid all grenades cause you want to put the pin in 100% every time. 1% chance in this world, agree, frickenforget that.
I get why you say that, but he was the highest rated recruit coming out of HS last year. He also has a famous last name/family, just like Bronny James at #1. In terms of marketability, Arch is pretty high up there.MooreTrucker said:Arch Manning at 3 is such a jokeea1060 said:

Depends who you ask. Bronny is a 4-5* and the #22 player in the country. He is not as hyped as his dad was (or Arch), and is probably not going to be a top ten pick. Bronny isnt even a top 3 player out of California, and not as tall or as big as his dad. Arch has a lot more hype than Bronny and is a better prospect coming out of HS.MooreTrucker said:But Bronny is actually good, right?ea1060 said:I get why you say that, but he was the highest rated recruit coming out of HS last year. Like what you like, but hot white chicks demonstrate that "white" isn't the predominant beauty standard with their constant tanning & tinted makeup.
Do you really thing a Brazilian volleyball players wouldn't get their fair share NIL and then some?
News flash....those are white people. Descendants of the Spanish. The Brazilians discussed are descendants of the Portuguese. Both with some local intermingling, but predominantly of European ancestry.
That was my point in the OP. The only ones considered attractive are the ones who have near 100% European facial features. People call them hispanic but their DNA is probably 70-90% European at a minimum.
You know, there are Hispanic people in Spain that are quite European
Spaniards are not Hispanic, they are European.
Hispanic has always had it's origins in Spain proper, the fact that it is used incorrectly today doesn't change the meaning. HTH.Quote:
- Hispanic specifically concerns the Spanish-language-speaking Latin America and Spain.
- First recorded in English in the late 1500s, Hispanic derives from the Latin hispnicus, adjective of Hispnia, meaning and source of the name Spain. Historically in English, Hispanic referred to Spain and its people in the Iberian peninsula. By at least the early 1900s, there is some record of use of Hispanic to refer to lands and people colonized by the Spanish in the Americasthe so-called "New World.

I think these are celeb boxers but the point still stands. It would not at all surprise me if the clothes women wear for sports start getting smaller or tighter to match what they wear to workout in since that is what gives them clicks and views for their social media accounts.
