It's amazing how they still keep trying to push female athletes as if they are talented. No man cares about women's sports, they just enjoy watching fit and attractive women move around.

Women's sports would have far more viewership if their uniforms were like beach volleyball or track and field for all sports. Any sport where women have to wear pants to protect their legs should switch to scrunch butt leggings. All uniforms should be completely form fitting.

Do that and more men will care. Otherwise women's sports will forever be a joke.

I don't know, most people don't recognize me as Hispanic or Latino and some people don't even recognize my surname as Spanish.

I'm bilingual with no accent either way...Well, when I was a pive I had and Argentine accent, lost my Spanish in High School and College to some degree, until I moved up here, started hanging with Bolivians through work and some say I have a Bolivian accent but my Mexican cousins don't hear it. I do pick up accent fairly quickly, and so have lost my Texan, much to my wife's pleasure.

Good fun to walk up to a Project site and listen to the conversation in Spanish. Then begin speaking or joking with them to bewildered looks. My technical Spanish is not up to par with my English but I'm not taxed by it until I begin discussions with my Leftist/communist cousins. I can read anything in Spanish and fully comprehend.

30 years ago I would have agreed with you.

But then something happened in the sport of golf. When I was growing up, there was nothing, and I mean nothing, attractive about any female professional golfer. They all seemed to be closet-lesbyterians. They even make fun of it in the 2nd Austin Powers movie.

Then something happened. And now female golfers are some of the hottest women in sports. If you had told me that 30-40 years ago, I would have laughed in your face.

So maybe there's hope for softball?

EDIT: Sorry, I'm an idiot who can't read. I didn't realize it was about the clothes and not about the general attractiveness of the players. But I'm leaving my post as-is just to make the point that the whole switch in women's golf is still a mystery to me.

Hispanic isn't a race OR an "ethnicity" any more than the difference between a German a Frenchman or an Armenian, they are all Caucasians of differing cultures.

As I stated, a person living in Angola that is 99% Black African but is culturally Angolan and African is technically able to immigrate to Portugal as a Portuguese and Hispanic. Angola is a Portuguese colony; in case you aren't aware and why the Portuguese MNST has so many blacks.

Did she take on your surname? If so, she is technically no longer Hispanic, and your kids will have a hard time claiming to be Hispanic.
