And let's be fair to those texas cities. There ain't a whole lot of anything going on in those places. It's not Texas' fault they're just blah places. Next thing you know everybody will starting getting pissed at Hearne for not being more awesome.

Is this Garland score influenced by King of the Hill?

The entire methodology behind the survey is dumb. Most of the factors are subjective, and the ones based on actual numbers are of questionable relevance.

The most LGBT friendly cities would be the ones where nobody gives a crap what you are, everyone just gets treated based on the content of their character.

From Census.gov concerning Hialeah, FL:

Hispanic or Latino, percent - 95.8%

Right off the bat, does anyone know just what percentage of the population of Houston all those towns combined makes?
69!

How are Oklahoma, Utah and maybe Mississippi not represented on that list? Also, Texas needs to work harder at this. I'm guessing southwest Montgomery County would do well if it was a single city.

Well played, sir. Well played.

As a Killeen High Grad and to be fair, Killeen is not friendly to anyone.

Houston belongs on that bottom list. It is the gayest city I have ever been in outside of San Fran, by far. I lived in the Heights area for the better part of a decade, so maybe that has skewed my perception, but often times it actually felt gayer than San Fransicko ever did. I think I just got lucky during my one trip to San Fran back around 2008 and somehow avoided all of the weirdness. Had one drugged out tr***y hooker approach me in daylight but other than that, nothing weird at all.

Houston proper is just super gay.

Surprising that Abilene isn't on that list. Things really are going to hell now that ACU coeds are allowed to wear shorts.
They now have coed dorms. I'm not kidding.

This is the only time I've seen Killeen make a list in a good way.

I grew up in Garland. It wasn't bad in the 70's and 80's but my old neighborhood looks a bit rough today.

Feel like this article is attacking Hispanics.

Most of those listed (in Texas at least) are majority Hispanic.

Maybe they take care of the gay lawns that have been marginalized by normative society.
