Trump is going to be arrested and convicted and sentenced to federal prison. 2 years ago we were saying he'd be indicted. But everyone was "muh CM". He's been indicted.

It's a witch hunt. But they didn't start a witch hunt to stop with a fine. They want him in cuffs in prison. I wonder if trump has thought about flights to nations without extradition. You know…to really seal the banana republic theme

Sorry but this is on Trump not DeSantis. DeSantis will pardon him and he has denounced these investigations but Trump is the one who hired terrible people that he has screwed over and he stupidly ran his mouth over and over again. He doesn't deserve another term simply because he keeps getting into legal trouble.

And realistically, what's the big deal? He 'agrees to testify.' (Testify=telling the truth under oath). As opposed to declaring he would only lie in court or otherwise put himself in legal jeopardy? Some of the reporting on these sorts of 'flips' are deceptive, is my only point.

My point is the only way to end lawfare is to hold prosecutors who bring such bogus charges legally accountable. Suspension or revocation of their licenses, for instance.
